Libertine for Target

^ I'm with you. I'm not sure what to think when the pictures are so small but some of the pieces caught my eye, which is good. ^_^

I think Libertine has some good things but I was surprised to hear about this collaboration since they've been MIA for a while.

not sure how i feel about this...it's kind of candy-punk, if that makes any sense, and very youthful. i wish the pics weren't so small so i could look at the details, but right now the only items that catch my eye are the duffle bag and the black ruffle jacket. the jacket is closest to the victorian provocateur thing that i liked about libertine in the first place...

I wonder how the clothes will look in person... I really like some of what I'm seeing so far.

totally United Bamboo! i dunno,i hope it gets a bit better than that.

has there been any news of what the line will actually consist of....and will it be available to both sexes?

^forgive me,i missed the link.

ugh...how biased is that!? only women? i don't get it to be honest especially when a large part of their general clientele is men. not smart at all.

I'm falling in love with Target!!!
lol

I'm excited about this, love love the collection!
anyone know ther premier date?

Please share!

I actually like it! A little more preppy than I expected, but it's very bright and optimistic.

i'm hoping that patrick robinson for target will only last for two months and libertine will follow for the two months after that.

these tiny pics have me straining to see...but im pretty sure some of the items are for men due to looks 21 and 22.

Here's are collages I made of the looks posted on Target.com

yes!!! i love these 4 outfits. i hope the crepe dress wont be too fragile. the neckline looks like it might be.

thank you for posting shopdiary:heart:

So much for going international. Although I noticed that the collections on Target's web site are now simply tagged "GO," with "international flights of fashion" appearing only once in very tiny print. Guess they had more success courting US-based designers.

Lucy, I too thought Look #21 was a guy but, upon closer inspection after a snarky comment was left in my blog, I discovered that it's a girl. And my snarky commenter pointed out that Look#22 are Libertine designers Cindy Green and Johnson Hartig. So no looks for men, I guess.

i guess that explains why the person in look 21 is wearing target's louboutin espadrille knockoffs!:flower:

yes, i didn't notice the espadrilles until i looked closely and that's what convinced me that it's a girl. ^_^
