Quite random casting for this campaign, but I'm happy they went with some newer girls for a change. Not exactly happy with their choices though.......Daphne is one of the most strangest models I have ever come across and personally she ruins everything she is involved with, Zuzana looks suitably intense in her shot and Anais first shot is ruined by the bizarre make-up. So far Nyasha has taken the bull by the horns and ran away with this, in one picture. A star in the making and I cannot wait to see how these images play-out with the brand name etc. in magazines.

I don't think that LV wanted big personalities, because even though I agree that they probably could not or would not pay for supers because they blew their budget on Angelina Jolie, they could have definitely cast a top model or two with major personality and presence* or even exciting newbies, think Raquel, Anja, Magdalena, Kristina S. or Arizona and they chose not to. I suspect that they wanted the clothes and the setting to sell the collection and thus far they are succeeding IMO, especially since only one or two images tend to run in the magazines.

* not that this cast is totally lacking on this front.

^Can i get a AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nyasha facial expression is EVERYTHING(although its giving me a Naomi/Jourdan hybrid too)...She really brought it for this shot. Daphne's shot is killing it too...

I also wished the campaign was naughtier. However,I like the fact that Meisel didn't get overwhelmed byt the whole S&M/Dominatrix inspiration. He decided to deliver a completely different story, and I think it's fine because it looks pretty good so far and believable. As for the casting,it may be a bit random or underwhelming compared to Amber,Caroly,Naomi,Jessica,Karolina or Kate but still I think the girls work well together and the solo shots are quite strong. So, for me this is already one of the best LV campaign by Meisel.

I wish they hadn't photoshopped Nyasha into a Jourdan 2.0 . Hopefully she'll look better in the other shots.

I didn't have high expectations for this campaign with those (no)names involved, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I like that it's not pretentious and not over the top, which LV and Meisel combo tends to be at times.

Of the shots released so far, I think everyone looks good except that one girl in the picture with Zuzanna. Zuzanna is totally smizing while the other girl is just like BLAH.

HAHAHA. I agree. Although i do like it, i feel as if it was a very safe approach to LV's rather naughty Fall collection. But the photographs are gorgeous... Meisel did a great job.
