Luminous, Glowy and Healthy Skin

same its what i do. i get really impatient though. i start wiping my face off with bare hands. i could easily be getting germs on my face by using my hands.

its funny too because my face dries within minutes.

I always wash my hands before I wash my face so I suppose there isn't that many germs on them. Sometimes I wash my face in the shower and if I do it first thing by the time I get out it pretty much dry.

^Same here. I wash my hands before I'm touching/washing my face. I never ever use a face cloth or towel to wash/dry my face. I always use a paper towel and dab my face dry.^_^

i dont know, i might just have paranoia that my hands will always have germs on it.

I mean you touch so many things after. The faucet switch, the doorknob, your room's knob, your product container, etc....

Sure it's likely that there are some germs left after washing ones hands but I assume that a healthy skin shouldn't have problems with that?

I do take care that I don't touch the product container with the two fingers that I use to put on the product (usually the middle finger and ring finger of my right hand) + I use a toner with some alcohol in so that should get rid of most germs that could be left after washing my face.

Soap doesn't remove more than 10% of the germs sitting on your hands

Currently sitting here with an aspirin face mask on.

Ho hum.

Just started wearing CG Smoothers SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer. It's lovely...definitely wasn't expecting it to be so nice. Great coverage (though concealer needed for undereyes and spots seeing as it is only a tint) and so so light feeling. Guess I'll save the $20 I was going to spend on Clinique foundation. I don't need thick gunk like that for everyday...this tinted moisturizer is perfect.

hahahah ive heard alot of great reviews about CG smoothers but i just dont trust covergirl. There products are just overadvertised crap.

I use the new revlon beyond natural.^_^

I love SKII products, they are expensive but worth every cent...
Also, I've done this detox programme and GOD i noticed a big difference....
btw i am a big fan of bread and pasta....so you can imagine one week without bread and pasta made a big difference to my skin....i was told to eat lots of veggies, especially green ones...drink loads of water , and yes stop stressing...also warm water with one tablespoon of honey to drink in the morning, does wonders to the skin:wink:
one of the employees, had massive ugly blemishes, they were huge pimples....she went to many dermos and had lots of creams and pills...one day i was telling her how my mom always nags about drinking my warm water with honey in the morning, and how she claims its amazing on the skin ( being her daughter i dismissed my mother's tip)...my colleague, took the tip and she started with it ...after a week i noticed her skin is a bit clearer, i din want to ask her cause i know she is a bit senetive about it...i went off for two weeks on vacation , came back...and OMG her skin was AMAZING...she had a box of chocolates on my table with a note saying " thank your mom for the tip"

Even though I gave you karma Dulcisima I must say I love that post! I will try the warm water in the morning, I know that's a metabolism boost remedy that many people use. Also we have the same adoration for SK-II products, though I am obsessed with the SK-II Facial Treament Masks.

I fake glowing skin. Palmers Body Gloss, I use it to highlight my face under makeup aswell. It's Cheap, moisturizing and makes me look like a shiny little sporting man like the ones on a trophy.

i'm interested in this, how exactly do u do it?could u please describe it in more detail??thanks

I do it with warm or hot water with just a small squeeze of lemon to take the warm water taste away,it makes my skin amazing.

I drink honey tea about twice a week, if I can remember that is, and it is affecting. It has healing properties so mixing it in with white tea is quite good for the skin.

I'm drinking white tea now. I must get some organic honey soon.

Letthemeatcake, thanks for the karma:wink: and SKII is simply amazing, after all japanese women have amazing skin , so no wonder a japanese product would be equally amazing=)

lifeis, put a tablespoon of honey in your mug/cup then pour the hot water in the mug, swirl it well , and then squeeze half a lemon in , swirl it and its ready to drink

i do this twice a day=)
early in the morning and before i go to bed...

Yeah, I heard refined sugar is bad for your health. It's a good idea to substitute it with honey

Still can't resist brown sugar on fruit though... unrefined of course.
