Luminous, Glowy and Healthy Skin

^Oh, I do that too! Especially with strawberries. Tea with honey sounds like something I could get in to as well. :innocent:

so i have a question for all who don't pat dry their face with a towel after washing it.
my main problem is, doesnt your sink water have lots of bacteria(and even steroids, and other nasty crap in bigger cities) in it?
so wouldnt letting sink water just dry on your face, be sort of just..gross?
i noticed, that a lot of the sink water will splash onto my mirror, and after a while, the part of the mirror closest to the sink will sort of have this gross film and buildup where the water was splashed.

i've never used a face cloth in my life, but i recently invested in a aveda shammy..i use it to wipe away the cleanser while its damp, but i always still pat dry my face with a towel afterwards.
would anyone suggest i just wipe the cleanser away with the shammy, and let my face air dry?
i'm just SUPER paranoid about bacteria getting onto my face

I know where you're coming from. I'm determined to buy some sort of steamer that I can use for towels/flannels to kill bacteria.

I use a water filtering system. And clean Natura Bisse cleansing sponges, which I've stockpiled for about 2 years.

I've also heard some people wash their face with evian, or other types of thermal water to combat this ^

for the record, hot water ages the skin faster. Cold water firms the skin, my skin specialist and dermo both have said the same to me. I use rose water to wash my face with, and i keep the rose water in the frigde, so when i wake up in the morning or before i go to bed i have fresh cold water.

Basically, if you have the resources and the effort you can get the best out of your skin.

Dulcisima, where do you purchase rosewater from? You must have a large amount.

What kind of foods are good for a skin boost a few days before an event?

I've heard eating a lot of citrus foods will cleanse you out and your skin.

when you wake up , first thing you should have warm water with honey and squeeze some lemon drops in it, drink it...
give yourself half an hour break then eat either an apple or kiwi...
eat as much raw veggies as you like ( but dont mix fruits with veggies)...give them at least 45 min break between them...
try to stay away from anything that contains oil or cream for
and drink alot of water
and warm water with lemon and honey,
honey , honey, honey is just amazing......do it for three days and u'll see the difference, i know i doB)

Haha, oh! I just thought you'd use a lot. I was imagining pouring some into the sink every morning and using it to wash your face.

I've been doing the warm water with honey and lemon thing for about a week now, but so far I haven't noticed any remarkable difference. I'll keep doing it for some more time, though, and see what happens. Still hoping ...

I should try this. I dont care for the taste of Evian, but for my face I would like...I know people use the Evian Brumisateur Mineral Mist which I guess you could use also...mist it on so to prepare skin for cleanser, and then use it to remove cleanser maybe?
*Ideas are brewing in my head* :D

I'm going to try drinking white tea with honey in it.. hope it'll work

I used to absolutely hate tea, I think it always reminded me when I was younger mum would make me drink it because I was sick... Nowdays I dont feel normal without green tea, I think its worthwhile with experimenting and finding the right one for you. So healthy if you find the right one

Peppermint tea is my fav!!

A good massage always makes my skin look it's best. I don't mean a facial or a face massage, I mean back or feet or whatever. Somehow it makes me look and feel fresh.
