Luminous, Glowy and Healthy Skin

MY skin always looks fresh after i exfoliate. Also I've noticed since I've been drinking water, my skin tone has improved greatly.

dlg

ive been eating more raw foods for the past week and my skin has improved trremednouslyh! ITS glowing, skin tone is evened out and soft and supple. i've been incorporated as many raw vegetables and fruits (the less sugary and acidic ones) as possible...

being careful about sun exposure is vital imo - case study: my mum....she is in her 50s and has extremely smooth, glowing skin (due to loads of moisturiser, facials and she drinks tea like there's no tomorrow)
however, growing up she went to the beach a lot and this has caused a kind of discolouration - not to mention she has had a skin cancer cut off her forehead leaving a scar....despite this she is gorgeous though!!

so in the love of vanity protect your face from the sun!!!!!!!!

Agree with you bigtime!!^^
Especially living where we do, sun care is hugely important! The best sunscreen I've found is dermalogica daily sola defense booster.

definitly agree, I use a self-tanning cream (Dior Bronze) to get my skin to glow, but what i find really helps is exfoliating and a serum, Idealist from Estée Lauder, works wonders u guys!

You guys, i found this really amazing & cheap moisturizer, it's from clean & clear so it works for oily skin as well. You should try it, i promise, it's good.

Oh & it's called 'morning glow', how convenient, eh? ^_^

I love morning glow! I have clear skin, but it can get a little dull when I wake-up (esp. after a night on the town:p) . This cream smells great, has super tiny shimmers (is that even a word?) and is cheap...and my skin is super oily sometimes and this doesn't worsen the problem.

^ I'll have to try that stuff... I love anything that claims to add a bit of glow/shimmer.

does anyone know what these face masks are called, and were i could get them in london?

Don't know where you can get them in London but I'm sure those are SKII (japanese brand)masks:flower:

Anyone have any advice on how do u get rid of those 'under the skin spots' ? I have loadz! i hate them !

Perscriptives has this glowy stuff whcih I love, but it's a bit expensive... the body shop has a knockoff of it (or did, i don't know if they still do) and it's amazing! it adds some luminosity, and is just great. <3

What kind of under the skin spots are they? I just recommend exfoliating and something with glycolic acid in it. I do a glycolic acid at home peel every week and my acne scars are way way way lighter than they were, and my skin looks a lot better!

Aloe Vera gel is wonderful. I use it straight from the plant whenever I have a sunburn, a zit or a scratch. It helps everything heal much faster, and you get a really nice even skintone.

You can buy them anywhere in Denmark. But that probably doesn't help you

What kind of glycolic acid are you using? And what is the time to see the improvement?

those SK-II pitera masks are amazinggg~ they work wonders!

my uncle is a dermatologist so i always hear this but the best way to achieve glowing and healthy skin is to work from the inside out, starting with healthy food and supplements, and gentle, botanical-based products for topical treatments.

1) vitamin C treatments (Sisley has a great line, and actually taking supplements helps too)
2) water, water, water (penta water is fab, more bang for the bottle)
3) high spf sunscreen DAILY (la roche-posay anthelios spf 50)
4) beauty sleep
5) whipped egg-white masks
6) green/white teas
7) omega-3 supplements (for the glow)
8) facials

annd i know this is gonna sound gross to a lot of people but so many people swear by it..

8) mix one part vinegar with 5 parts water and drink a cup after every meal.. it cleanses out your system, leading to clarified skin!
