I'm not sure exactly what Typeface is used for 'Vogue' but BauerBodoni seems a good match for anyone who wants to use the font for fun. The font can be downloaded for free via this link http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free-fonts-b2.html (also available in Bold, Italic and Bold Italic) - here is a preview:
I'm also 99.9% sure that selfservice magazine uses Helvetica Neue 75 Bold, with a tracking of around -45

Also, for anyone who has this issue of selfservice (fall winter 2007) I'm pretty sure that the spine of the magazine used the Typeface 'Regaliz'
neo2.es
Regaliz can be downloaded for free here: http://www.abstractfonts.com/font/13093
I once had the font which V Magazine uses when I did some work for them, but I lost the file when my Macbook last died, however I think that Bebas is a very good free alternative (its also similar to the Typeface used for Vogue Hommes international when Macs Iotti was their creative director)

PURPLE FASHION magazine uses Adobe Garamond Pro
magculture.com
The font is not free but it is likely that computers already have either 'Adobe Garamond Pro' or 'Garamond' pre installed (also since M/M Paris took over Purple, they now use Garamond along with a Helvetica Neue Bold)
Also, the font used in the editorial 'Eden' for W magazine is called 'Mommie' - it was also used on a L'Officiel cover.

The 'Mommie' font can be purchased here: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/hubertjocham/mommie/
Also 'yummy' magazine uses the font ICT American Typewriter
magculture.com
ICT American Typewriter can be purchased from http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/itc-american-typewriter/ but like Garamond is already pre installed (at least on Macs)
