^ Oh, me too :woot: Jamie + Lanvin already proved to be a great combo.

Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, who in 2003 based an entire collection on Tilda Swinton, complete with a cast of look-alike models, are at it again.

Model Kristen McMenamy, a runway regular in the Nineties and unconventional beauty, is the main focus and special guest the Dutch duo’s show on Saturday
from wwd.com

I wonder if all models are going to look like Kristen, would be fun

She's the Toni Garrn from Spring/Summer 2009, the Natasha Poly from Spring/Summer 2008, and the Gemma Ward of Fall/Winter 2006. It's unbelivable, even though her agents should immediately beginn to cut down her bookings on only upper A class bookings to make her (carrer) not suffer of random overhype. I know it's really selective yet, she could easily have cancelled Altuzarra, Derek Lam, Diesel, Rochas, RM by Roland Mouret and Erin Wasson & RVCA, though. Management can get on a dangerous level now, anyway, congratulations for Monica, I'm not a fan of too classic looks, but 3 years of major development proccess make it worth to wait for such a great season for her i guess. :flower: ^_^

I think all casting directors together pretty much agree on who the face of the season is...click here

Yeah, it's crazy. It's not often someone pleases everyone in the business, but she seems to do so .. I personally don't get what's so incridbly fantastic about her, but that's another discussion.

Jacqueline Jablonski has 59 shows now... and both she and Jac skipped London so they're on even footing. It's like a horse race!

As much as I like Jacqueline, can she really compete with the quality of shows Jac has done (pretty much every A list show) and the amount of A list shows Jac opened..?

Jac wins over Jacqueline because she opened more shows and she walked most of the shows the established girls did.

I think Jacqueline could have been slightly more selective.

I partly agree with you.
Diesel show just pays really well and is casted by Maida & Rami
Altuzarra had a pretty good casting overall and styled by Melanie Huyn

Then again, I didn't really follow Jac  but it's like I just woke up and see everything she's been doing this season and it is just incredible

^I didn't notice either that she was that present. I mean I read her name wheneveer there was an (O) behind it in the runway showlist thread but that showlist of hers looks amazing. Reminds me of S/S 2006 when opening/closing was between Freja and Gemma and if they didn't open they've done the final or had the second look.

I wonder what campaigns she will book because I dont think she's on another Calvin Klein exclusive, right?

Other than what style_expert already mentioned, Derek Lam is important as it is always established girls supporting a continuously rising designer (One of the only newer NY designers to actually come out with a print campaign), and Rochas is cast by Maida & Mouret by Maida/Rami...they wouldn't have stood for her not showing up there

I could imagine her doing the campaign again.I mean she opened the 4th time in a row and is a huge favourite

Anway, I'm also very impressed of her list! When I saw it, it was hard to see anything because of the (O) and (C) :P
I'm really happy she's doing so good and I hope/think she won't get overhyped. She isn't a girl for just a few season... she will be huge for sure!

I thought Sigrid would have been number 1 this season, she seems to be opening and closing shows as much as Jac. Sigrid, Freja, and the two Jacs were everywhere (important) this season.

TI
The Hiss Squad assures that a scandal generating new girl (as yet unseen on any runway,) is set to stomp for her worldwide exclusive this weekend even as her her first blue chip editorial tear is set to drop next month...TI-heads are very fast so we know they'll have that one sorted out in record time, Model watchers should also brace themselves for an extra-twisted parade courtesy of a certain closely watched directional force. Let's just say you won't be able to guess who or what (whether he or she) will come wheeling out as the next exit for that show. New decade...new template...for real...And since this is quite timely...which super-photographer is threatening not to renew his contract with that blue chip mag should he ever gain be saddled with a certain temperamental super-stylist. He is simply not used to be being spoken to that way. Talent is sensitive kids

scandal girl -Joan Smalls?

but they say she is unseen on the runway.. Joan Smalls has done lots of shows so far no?

I'm thinking.. Cassi???

joan has already walked nYc and Paris so this wouldn't be unseen

what about Cassi from AUSNTM :lol:
