they do all the fittings in NY so the cast is set?

I don't know where they did the fittings but a big part of the exclusive haircut newbies has been casted months in advance and they're also going to shoot something together if plans didn't change.

My guess is that Miranda, Gisele and the other high profile models were special requests as opposed to exclusives - I am not saying that NONE of them could have been exclusives, but that they were more likely special requests.

The opening model (one of the supposed street people) is with an agency, so my guess is that she was an exclusive, although she may have gotten signed after she was cast for Balenciaga since it appears that the casting for the SS 2011 started a while back.

All girls who got their hair cut were exclusive i believe. They planned to put 10 girls on a exclusive but I've seen less newfaces there if i remember correctly.

milou's been signed for a while, once was with (paul's) supreme, but floating around agencies since then

to echo coacd's sentiments on twitter, the girls who cut their hair were basically girls who's career were already dead so could afford to cut it.

Actually, Milou (the opening model) has been a modeling for a few years now and has a thread here and everything. I don't think she was street cast.

Thanks for the information guys, perhaps I am mistaken, but I thought that it was reported that she was discovered on the street, but that is why I said included 'supposed' because if you walk on the right street in New York, Paris, Milan or Amsterdam you will run into a lot of very modelesque street people. :
