I was wondering if Odette was her real first name. It doesn't sound Russian at all, more like an old granny French name. Anyone knows why they changed it to Odette?

My guess is that Vika is pretty common and she wanted to stand out?

Don't know if this has been mentioned, Romee is actually van Strijd, isn't she? To me (I know how to pronounce Dutch) this sounds much better, but I suppose she didn't want people to pronounce it like the car...

Awh, I know it was too good to be true. Odette is such a cool name.
Reminds me immediately of the Swan Lake ballet, where Odette is the main character.

I agree that Yulia and Victoria are too common for them.
