BTW how do they get enough money to pay this girls? That place didn't look that big.
I mean I know isabeli was shooting for vogue Paris 3 days before the show and right after the show had to fly back to NY for another shoot.so she must get a lot $$ to be dealing with all this flights and stress.
I know the other girl may not be as request or have the Same amount of work as isabeli, but their names still very big in Brazil.

Maybe there isn't a lot of money involved. Maybe because they're all from Brazil, they just want to show their support out of the kindness of their hearts and don't ask for much. All of these girls are very busy though!

Because it's a thread on a runway show. Most threads of this nature have a variety of both positive and negative opinions. Just as you have posted your thoughts, I have posted mine.

My guess is that all of the models are getting paid quite well and the star models are getting paid very well and presumably so are the musical acts. Isn't Monange a decent size company? Are their products widely used in Brazil? Although I don't disagree that getting a chance to work in your home country is an attractive incentive as well.

we talk about brazilian models because they were on this show, because it was in brazil. why do u bring up your own country? no wonder there are so many stereotypes about USA....

^^ I said that because of the comment that they should only be Brazilian models working for vs. I do not agree with that and I said Americas because he specific said no Americans.
I think is great to have diversity why should there only been girls from one country working for vs?
And by the way I'm not from USA. So I don't care for any American models not working for vs

Okay, sorry if my message was a bit exaggerated. I don't think VS should be only Brazilian, but I'm just stating that I dislike the direction they are taking by hiring mostly American models at the moment (as angels). This show was proof to me that brazilian models have the charisma that some of the American angels lack.

Idk, just my opinion, but I just find the Brazilian models much more exotic and interesting while the American ones are pretty, but rather bland (Erin, Lily, Lindsay). I wouldn't mind Hilary Rhoda though!

^ i dont care where the models come from, but Brazilians are mostly amazing mixtures, so they do bring diversity. when you watch SPFW you see all kind of girls, with great bodies, and VSFS had some serious casting mistakes during previous yrs.

American's can be involved with VS, or what have you but I tend to agree with Gabriel. From my point of view you can have mostly American...but only if they can stack up next to the Brazilians, Italians and whatever VS decides to throw in the line-up. I have seen some drop dead gorgeous American models that would be perfect for VS. America is more than just the Girl Next door, which VS tends to only book on the American side. I see plenty of American women who look foreign because we do have quite a big mixture here too. I think the point is Americans, Brazilians whatever as long as they can all be "equal" in looks I don't think it matters where they come from. Because most men who are watching the commercials aren't giving one damn about who comes from where. The other day I had a huge group of guys over and a commercial came on and I pointed out Erin was from America...I was met with a resounding..."So...."

Throw in a Hilary Rhoda or Brooklyn Decker and BAM, you have good American models for VS. I just don't think Erin nor Lily nor Chanel even hold a candle to Ale, Adriana, Doutzen and Candice

Monange is a pretty big cosmetics company in Brasil, I'm sure they have no problem paying for these girls. And also, not all of the top girls will be walking every show.
