I have never said the dress is a total copy, I only think this "zipper" looks somewhat similar. When I saw the Michalsky dress in a magazine I immidiately had to think of the Burberry dress. When I googled both again it turned out that they were not as similar as I had them in my mind, though I think the approach is there.

I can't tell if this is a Dior replica or someone else's work. but I see similarities in the way the bodice has that "peeled" look which was throughout the Dior collection, and that diagonal cut across the torso

Yeah, in some cases, Yes! but Panos Yiapanis styles for Givenchy (i think) and his style is so opposite to the likes of Gucci, i can't see him working with them, i know Emmanuelle Alt used to style for them until she got made EIC.
