Pale Or Tan...

I have pale skin, and dark brown hair - I prefer this look on me, but for other people I like bronzed blondes and fair skinned brunettes,

i like men with a little tan. no fak looking dark orange tans tthough.
for women, i prefer a no-tan, but also no-pale, yet a fresh, healthy, pinky look. get it?
imagine kate winslet in quills...or liv in lord of thee rings...)thats pale isnt it?!? :P )

For guys, fairly pale. Myself, I have to have a little tan (accomplished by makeup - No burning for me!) or I look sickly and tired. As far as other women, I tend to like tanned skin as well.

:woot: just back from the beach, first 'suntan' of the season.. yeahh
(not that it shows much)

bf couldnt let me stay for anything more than an hour

i like a light healthy, natural tan, not the dried out trying-too-hard style or the ugly solarium type.

btw, i love suntaned guys
(my bf is always the first to get tanned since he's most of the time on a sailing boat)

i have so much envy for the tan obsessed people i call my friends because everyone i pratically know has golden tans. me on the other hand trys to lay out and end up getting a few brown spots that absolutely freak me out. i also tend to tan very unevenly and you would think all of this would bring me to a hault when it came to tanning. it just so happens i vow to stay a pale beauty and end up trying the tan thing again the next summer.
sorry for my rant on this, i guess my skin really bothers me

tans are sexy! but
cancer, peeling, and burnt skin is not sexy
but fake tanning can look so not sexy
either way it's a lose lose!

it just depends on the person. those old, leathery, dark ladies really need to get outta the sun.

For myself, I like fair skin (not ghostly pale though) with a little bit of blush on the cheeks.

But in general, I think people look best with the skin tone they were born with.

The trouble with tans are that whilst you look great when you're young, it ages the skin and most older people I see with tans have un-attractive orang-ey wrinkled skin. And when I say older, that's assuming they survived skin cancer.

I have some middle eastern blood. My grandpa is Saudi Arabian. I wish I had a pic of him on my pc because he is the handsomest man ever. He really is a gorgeous man, even at 80 years old he's still getting looks from the ladies. (which grandma hates!)

Back to the point. I've inherited his dark skin and hair so I'm naturally pretty dark.

Plus I'm addicted to tanning. I bake in the sun like a turkey with no sunscreen. :ninja:

I'm so dark people think I'm Indian.

on me: pale.... simply because i have a blue skin tone...

but i honestly like all skin tones. just as long as they are natural... and not forced. :)

today my grandma asked me if im sick because im so pale....i exfoliate too much.

i look better tan, but am generally not in the sun because i dont have time for it. however, i am right at the beach in ct at the moment, so i will take advantage and try not to look so 'sickly'

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Donatella Versace. Is it fake or real, that horrible tan ? :ninja:

Pale ..white as snow just for the girls. Porcelain skin and dark brown eyes.

Reffering to boys, I like both skin types. Pale rosy cheeks, blue eyes and blonde hair  the scandinavian look which I adore.
& tannned aggresive type of attitude specific to mediterranean guys.

Tan...Whenever I do a makeover on someone I always have them either do a tanning bed session or mystic tanning...I don't always think everyone should be really really tan but a bit of color always look great on some people.
