I've actually tried a fake tan, and it looked bad on me.pavement said:I never understand the idea that tan=healthy. A tan is just skin damage.

Amen to that statement! What about us naturally brown-skinned people? Lol, you'd be surprise how much WE can tan as well, lol.
kiss&tell said:No. I'm not literally saying get a tan from the sun. It can be from a bottle as well.![]()

but im so pale... and dead hhahaha and i love how it looks because it me feel special....
i know a girl im my school have tan so much that she look literally brown (before that she is fair and rosy cheek)....
and every time i see her i have to put down the urge to call her "ugly and fake"
I think pale skin can look great, and I usually prefer it on people w/darker hair, just to add a beautiful contrast!pavement said:But it still doesn't make you any healthier. Are African people genetically healthier than caucasians?

yay im have natural black/brown hair hehehesexydaydreamer said:Lol. I don't like fake tans either, especially the "bronzers" people use that make them look orange!I think pale skin can look great, and I usually prefer it on people w/darker hair, just to add a beautiful contrast!
i feel special now
...I'm not into fake tans or tanning beds though--even in the summer, it gets to a point when one's skin looks leathery and it's just not flattering
