Really love all your choices Multi.....that blue Ann Dem uses is so lovely. And the arm warmers are so good for you!

I got my Chloe skirt and it's shockingly good....much, much better than the picture. It's shorter on me than on the model (about 3-4" above the knee)

AND

...it has POCKETS, which I neglected to notice in the description.
Also, the fabric is quite thick (wool with silk lining) so it has a lot more volume than the picture showed.

So now I just need to check out the Isabel Marant skirt again (which I will do today, softie)....and decide which one is better. I would love to get that one in black, actually--can't really justify two army green mini skirts.

Do you know if it comes in black, soft?

the skirt i got does not come in black..
the very dark navy that i got is almost black though...

softgrey That skirt is bloody awsome!!! I LOVE skirts like that from fall I saw a very similar one in black from etoile Isabel Marant... but it was kinda bumpy material..hard to explain.. was way too big for me though..

I got one on the cheap side, is the perfect length for me... very short! hat's my main problem with the high street I always need a bit of tailoring, not on this one!

On the website it says 100% cotton but its actually a wool/cotton mix so its perfect for early fall. It has pockets and pleats! Going to wear it with my Burfitt t shirt tucked in!

I'm really feeling skirts for this season!

I just bought a dress, but I always get so cold.. but it looks best without tights so 'pure'... sometimes I wish I had a different lifestyle so I could just wear crazy stuff and get away with it!

urggg so this season im looking for a few basic wardrobe staples.. and im thinking you all can help me! what i'd like is:

anorak : not one of those heavy duty climb-the-mountain things.. you know.. one of those that's lovely and has been a bit of the craze.. nothing bright and poppy, but simple and works well with most anything. 100 or under dollars would be magnificent as well, but over is alright too.

skirt : someting in the neutral color range (black.. grey..) and made of wool, something a bit more warm then those flowy things. you know, a good winter skirt i could wear with tights.

the saga of the tao comme top is over for me. it is bizarre in the back and I don't think it works for me, so its going back to yoox. too bad, though since I don't own any tao and I was looking forward to it working out.

the back ties with two strings otherwise its wide open. and the front with the roses, make the top heavy. it's just an awkward fit for me. oh well.

but i though it was some sort of 'skort' thingie ...
like shorts really...so i thought it might not be good.
( i saw one @ uniqlo so i guess it was on my brain)...
it's really cute if it's a skirt though...
what's the back of it like?
does it also have a pleat like the front?

*tights are actually really big for fall- and REALLY thick and opaque ones...
but if something works better without, then by all mean..i say go without!....
i heard it was already cold there though, no?
