Yay! I got my tragus piercing done today! And it didn't hurt at all (except for the part when the piercer had to close the ring). I actually had to ask my friend if the needle had even gone through yet! And thank God I didn't hear the disgusting crunchy popping sound that some people hear when they get it done. The only part that sucked was all the blood! well, not that much, but more than any of my other piercings. And another part that sucks is that I have to wait 4-6 months before I can change the jewelry. I have a beautiful gold & diamond horseshoe bar that I have to wait to use.

^ i believe that you can change the ball of the stud already after two weeks. i mean it doesn't require taking the whole stud away. but you have ring so it might be a different case then
ok i'm a bit weird, but i actually went and took my first earrings today.. i mean i've had piercings since i was 17 (19 now) but i never had regural ear piercings. but now i do and love them

they're doing very well actually much better than my wrist because they dont get caught at all unlike my wrist which i got caught all the time. although the skin is much thinner around my collarbones than my wrist although they are rejecting you can still sort of see the bar under the skin.

i really want my tragus done but not sure if i have the money since the place i go to get pierced charges £20 for one

20GBP is quite expensive for a tragus piercing. in toronto, it can be done for around 15GBP but i rather pay more to have it done properly the first time than to pay for it later on if it was done improperly

in my opinion...no way. when i see a guy in studded diamond earrings i either thing ghetto, chav or footballer. which in my eyes, are not looks i would aspire for my men to be.

ear piercings worn in another style, such as grungier, rockier studs or rings can work, but it's often too risky to pass off well.

^ to tell you the truth, i was scared as hell when i went to get mine done. my hands were sweating and all since i was so sure the pain is going to at least kill me. that's why i was so surprised how little it actually hurt. and i'm not saying that it doesn't hurt, of course it hurts when there's needles involved, but this was more like a small pinch. quite similar if you pinch yourself

I just got my navel pierced few hours ago and i love it ! It hurt a lot less than i thought it would hurt, the guy who made my piercing was really nice and funny and made jokes all the time so it wasn't scary at all ! I was actually laughing while he stuck the needle trough my belly

IMO navel piercings are the best looking piercings, of course you have to have the right kind of belly for it. Fat belly with a piercing is does NOT look pretty ... And you guys got me all excited about the tragus piercing too! I think I might have to get one soon

Allius- I do agree with lou, its not a cool look.

I've had my nose pierced, 8 piercings on my ear (4 each, jewels not worn in all holes at the same time) thought about lip and tongue. But now I am pierce free! At least I believe the holes are all closed. I believe it was a phase, I'm so over it. To me, navels are the worst. I've never seen anything tackier than a teenage girl in a belly shirt and low rides with her glittering belly button ring.

Kateelle - I agree, of course navel piercings worn like that look horrible but for example on a beach a navel piercing can be very beautiful. It's all about how you wear it. For me, it's not about showing your piercing in public. It's only for me to see

I'm a guy and have my ears pierced. I don't think that I would go further, although I do think a lip ring would look nice on me.

i now have 4 piercings on my ears (3 and 1), but i had my navel and lip pierced. i'm considering on getting a tragus piercing. i've wanted it for so long, but i was always too scared!
