thanks lottie and ta-ta!:flower:

I know of a good reputable salon, so I guess that would be okay.

However, that's really interesting re. earlobe structure...when I wear hoops, I have the opposite problem, they face outwards and look kind of "wide"; that bothers me...I thought it would be resolved if I pierced the ears, but maybe not...we'll see...

what would have been easier if the initial pair were a proper metal?

I suppose it depends on whether the clips are distorting the natural set of your ears/lobes.

Earrings that aren't all gold cause a huge amount of irritation for me, so trying to heal the piercings with irritating cheap earrings in the mix wasn't ideal ...

And btw I have worn clip-on earrings back in the day for a big dramatic look :ninja: and found the vast majority sooo painful!!! One day in a bad pair of clip-ons is far more painful than getting your ears pierced. And I am very sensitive to pain ...

The other thing is, if your initial pair of earrings have extra-large posts, I wouldn't plan on wearing them past the initial healing period.

Ah-ha! I can see that pierced earrings would be less distorting. Thank you for the excellent advice.

Pain...yes. I'm planning to get my ears pierced because the pain of clip-ons cause me to remove and promptly lose them. Plus I think earrings suit me much better now than they used to.

That's what I found too-piercing hurts way less than clip-ons. The first time you get them done it's not a whole lot of upkeep (just soaking twice a day for two months) and it doesn't really hurt. Clip-ons were absolute torture.

If I was going to get my nipple pierced what one would people recomend? Is one side better than the other???

& I also want to get the bit pierced thats in the middle of your ear......the bit that sticks out, above the lobe, if you know what I mean. Does it hurt? Do people have an idea of costs?

:flower:

^ its called a tragus, i want to get it dne too. but i heard it hurts alot

I had both pierced. But the left one gave me problems, so I took it out. So it's just the right one. So I would say right, lol. As far as the tragus goes, mine cost me $40.

i dont think one nipple is better than the other since everyone is different, just go for what you like asthetically pleasing to you. personally i have the right side pierced.

and yes that bit your talking about is a tragus piercing for me it didnt hurt it just felt like abit of pressure. but saying that out of all the piercings i've had only one actually hurt:lol:

both should cost you around £20 each as far as i can remember thats around what i paid for mine.

gotta say at the end you take them out... all of mine were removed... and to be honest i didn't wear them for that long... but i like boys with nose piercings for some reason...

I've had my ears stretched for about 6 years now, as i've gotten older i've gone for more descrete plugs but i still love them!

I love nearly all kinds of piercings if its matching good with the person who wears it. I got my newest one three weeks ago at my neck and i love it.

I think it is mainly about the aesthetic, you need to think about which side you think it would look best on ^_^

It all depends on your pain tolerance! A lot of my friends have their tragus pierced and they said it hurt more than lobes but wasn't too bad - it is quite hard to catch it badly on anything. I reckon it would be about £25 to get it done but it varies depending on what place you go to.

I got my first piercing yesterday! :D an anti-helix or forward helix, I don't know what's the exact name. Anyway is right above the tragus. I like it a lotttt! :D I think I won't get any other piercing in the future though...

Oh I like those but I already have my tragus pierced and I don't like the look of loads of piercings in one ear and I don't fancy having it on the other side.

I don't think I'm getting more any time soon because I need to save money and am so busy all the time, but if I did get another piercing, I might get that anti-helix on my right ear.

I used to have 5 cartilage piercings, 5 ear lobe piercings and a nose ring. I kind of got over the whole piercing addiction (let them all close) and now I just have 2 simple piercings on my ears :D

I currently have:
ear lobes stretched to 6g
conch
helix
tragus
rook
cartilage (done @ claire's lol)
2 other regular piercings in each ear
both nipples
tongue
(and had my belly button done twice)

im currently thinking that i love a tiny thin hoop as a nose piercing on females...

I've been thinking about getting the top of my ear done...
I find that it gives a kind of elfy look ^_^
Anyway what do you guys know about that? Does it hurt? how much does it cost?
(and if more go ahead :) )

here is my current antibrow piercing; I've had it since March

considering getting the actual microdermal anchor in a similar spot and taking out the surface piercing, but the removal process is holding me back
