nope, apparently according to various news reports, they were photoshoped to death to create more hair for William and less sagginess around Kate's face.
Even though I find one of the pictures were they are hugging adorable, it lacks that romantic love that they never display either in the years of dating or during their official interview. Perhaps they will prove us naysayers wrong and end up having a long happy royal marriage with loads of kids, but something about them doesn't say longivity.

I think they could have used a much better picture for this coin or take a profile shot of William and Kate. The 'head on' shot of her is awful and doesn't even look like her.

Prince William and his fiancee Kate Middleton are featured on the Royal Mint’s new commemorative coin celebrating their engagement!
“We are delighted to showcase this new coin. The special betrothal design has been approved by Prince William and Her Majesty The Queen,” a spokesman for the Royal Mint told Us Weekly.
Approximately 50,000 of the £5 (valued at about $7.75) coins have been created and can be pre-ordered at RoyalMint.com.

I'd be dieing right now if I were Kate, that is such a bad picture to put on anything let alone a coin! And it will be on there FOREVER. That would be grounds for divorce

What Is The World Coming To: Royals Without Servants
You would think that by marrying a prince you'd get a servant to wipe your as*, a servant to spray lavender oil on your after-BM anus, a servant to pick our your eye snots, a servant to make sure the butter slices fully melt in your baked potato before serving it (I HATE NON-MELTED BUTTER SLICES), etc... etc... The whole point of marrying a prince is so you don't have to live like a dirty filthy commoner anymore. But Kate Middleton will have to continue to live like a dirty filthy commoner, because word is that she won't have any household help after she married Prince William. The poor homeless peasants on the street are like, "It's so hard being Prince Willy and Kate."
Prince Charles has a staff of 150 that costs around $9.6 million a year, but Prince William and Kate want to live like the normal people do. They will do their own laundry, cooking, and cleaning. They will only employ bodyguards to protect them while they try to live like all of us. A source tells The Telegraph, “They want to do their duty and make sure they are a real asset to the country but they are private individuals who want to get on with their lives. Prince William is not into extravagance and, like any other young officer in the armed forces, that is how he chooses to live his life. He and Catherine live without domestic staff and they wouldn’t do it any other way. That’s the life they want to lead."
Well, there goes my plan of getting a job as Kate's lady-in-waiting so that I can get closer to the torch of the royal family Prince Hot Ginge. Wait. On second thought, The Telegraph's article didn't say anything about Prince Hot Ginge going SANS SLAVES. I'm sure he still employs a full-time servant to gently brush his ginger crotch bush hundreds of times a day. Get me a fireplace glove and point me toward the royal job fair!

A Scotland Yard spokesman said the Crown Prosecution Service had advised no further action after the interview.

Events organiser Miss Sayle is the head of The Sisterhood, an all-female charity group which Miss Middleton joined in 2007.
Miss Sayle caused outrage when she posted a message on the social networking site that read: 'Just had a two-hour shooting lesson. She will now be using this skill on the top of East London high rises to help with the UK's illegal immigrant problem.'

A shocked reader alerted police but Miss Sayle, of Wandsworth, South-West London, said the complaint was 'pathetic' and 'created by someone who's obviously got a grudge'.
Days later Miss Sayle, who runs an 'upmarket' swingers' club, wrote: 'Just had a call from the old bill demanding I go in as someone has reported me for apparently making racist comments... hahaha... using my new found gun skills to control the UK's illegal immigrant population is not what I call racist.'.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said today: 'Officers from Kensington and Chelsea investigated comments allegedly made on the Facebook website after a complaint was made at Chelsea police station on Wednesday December 1st. No arrests were made.
'On Monday December 20 a woman attended a West London police station by appointment in relation to the investigation and was interviewed under caution. Officers have now liaised with the Crown Prosecution Service who advised no further action.
Just a day after her police interview, Miss Sayle posted a link on her Twitter page to a Right-wing U.S. website entitled 'Australia says no to Muslims'.
Miss Sayle, who attended Downe House boarding school with Prince Michael of Kent's daughter Gabriella Windsor, was the subject of a London council investigation earlier this year over claims her Killing Kittens firm used a £30million house for sex parties.

She has described herself as 'one of the world's leading sextrepreneurs' and sells sexual aids and 'kidnap role play experiences' for £3,500 through her company.
On The Sisterhood website she is listed as the 'fearless leader of this merry band of girls' as well as the 'brains and brawn behind a very successful company in the upmarket adult industry'.
The fundraising group notes Miss Sayle's hobbies include 'attempting to surf, on a speedboat, breaking squash rackets on walls, playing dirty in triathlons, practicing her front crawl naked in the serpentine after a night out'.
Kate Middleton had been a member of The Sisterhood crew until 2007, when she was forced to pull out of a planned cross-Channel rowing attempt due to security fears.
Miss Sayle organised the event, which saw the crew row to France in a Chinese 'dragon boat', completing the 21-mile journey in less than four hours.

To me the key words here are that Kate 'backed out' way back in 2007. When you have a high profile, you have all kinds of people trying to cultivate you ... now she'll have a whole team of people at the palace to weed out sickos like this one.

^ She only backed out because she got back together with Wills not because she finally came to her senses and realized this woman was bad news. But you're right, now she'll have someone to weed out the rats which is probably going to serve her well in the future. Unless she decides to forgo those aids too just like her maids, chefs, butlers etc.
