Kate Middleton is set to hold her hen night at a new bar called 86 on London’s Fulham Road after celebrating her 29th birthday there with friends last week.
‘She loves it because the staff are discreet and she knows the owner,’ says a pal.
Last week it was revealed that Prince William's stag night is set to be a low-key affair.

More wedding plans: Kate Middleton is a fan of 86 in Fulham Road - so much so it will be her hen night venue
Owners of his favourite night spot, Mahiki, have sent over cases of their signature rum to Clarence House ahead of the bash, which is being organised by Prince Harry and the club's former employee Guy Pelly.
William wants a low-key venue for his stag night so instead of going to Mahiki, Mahiki will come to them,’ says a friend.
‘Bosses have sent crates of the rum, used in the club’s Polynesian-themed cocktails, for the boys to enjoy.’
Meanwhile, Kate’s mother Carole, 55, and her sister Pippa, 27, enjoyed lunch at Princess Diana’s favourite restaurant, San Lorenzo in Knightsbridge, last Tuesday.
‘They were treated like royalty,’ says a fellow diner.

Watch out William, looks like Carole and Pippa are starting to show the real them! I bet they acted like they were royalty too!

^ That's what sources have been saying about them. It wouldn't surprise me one bit, Wisteria grows rampant!

Kate Middleton Quits Her Day Job At Party Pieces

Posted: 01/24/11 11:35 AM
Kate Middleton has quit her job to focus on wedding planning, the London Evening Standard writes. She worked as a website designer and photographer for her parents' Party Pieces site. Royal aides confirmed she stepped down on Friday, one saying, "She has handed over her work to colleagues and is now preparing for her future life."

Preparing for her nuptials might not be a far cry from Kate's previous day job. A friend told Hello! magazine, "Catherine is a naturally creative individual and has spent her professional life in the creative industries having worked at [fashion chain] Jigsaw, then as a website designer, photographer, marketer and events organiser. Skills she has built up in her working life translate naturally to organising a wedding."

It's unclear whether Kate will return to work after the wedding, however the Daily Mail reported in November that she "will not forge a role as a working princess immediately after she marries, fuelling speculation that she and Prince William plan to start a family straight away." We'll see, won't we?

yeah, right, like she ever really really had to work there....i don't believe that for one minute. all we ever saw of her was partying and dating the prince....

Just gotta ask..

My dad says the British people are not happy with the idea of a huge wedding for the two. They're quite against it since it'll cost so much.

Is this true?

^ everyone I know is just excited about the extra bank holiday! Haven't heard many complaints about the cost.

This is a sad display of a wedding. She's having her bachelorette party at a bar? Keep it classy Kate. And obviously the staff isn't that discreet because now everyone knows about it.

ROYAL WEDDING: FOREIGN ROYALS INVITED TO WILLIAM AND KATE'S BIG DAY

Foreign royals have been invited to Kate and William's wedding

THE first guests invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding have emerged after foreign royal families announced they were attending.
Officially, invitations will not be sent out for another three weeks but when it comes to royal weddings it seems the rules are different for royalty than they are for mere mortals.

As a matter of protocol, the Queen has had her private secretary contact the private secretaries of most of the crowned heads of Europe in the past few days to invite representatives of their families to the April 29 wedding at Westminster Abbey.

"It's a sort of pre-invitation, asking them to keep the date free. It's been done because of their diary commitments but they haven't received a gold embossed invitation yet," a senior Buckingham Palace official said last night.

All of Europe's major royal houses, including those of Spain, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Belgium, will be there but the first official confirmations came from three deposed royal families.

Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia, 65, whose father King Peter II was deposed in 1945, and his wife Crown Princess Katherine, 67, were the first to announce they were attending. "Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to attend the marriage and are very happy for the young couple," a spokesman said. Crown Prince Alexander, whose country disintegrated in the early 1990s, is a godson of the Queen.

The Romanian royal family, led by ex-King Michael, said they would also be among the guests.

A spokewoman for the Greek royal family confirmed that ex-King Constantine, 70, deposed in 1973, and his wife Queen Anne-Marie, 64, as well as their son Crown Prince Pavlos, 43, had been invited and would be attending. "They received a fax in the last few days," she said.

I'm actually more interested in seeing what the foreign royals are wearing than Kate's wedding dress.....:p

I want to see what Kate's mother will wear. It will probably over the top with some horrible hat. I'm just thankful it's not an evening, full royal attire wedding because I'm sure Carole would show up in a tiara and a one of Pippa's evening gowns!
Gosh this family is laughable.

Oh god, how boring.....A formal lunch for her bachelorette party? I understand she is trying to act like more of a "princess" but this is sort of silly. She will have her whole life to act like a stuffy old goose. I'm not saying she needs to go out and get sloshed but dang, this girl has partied harder at one night at Mahiki than three days with her sister and mother. Yawn.

Kate Middleton ‘having three day bachelorette party’
Thursday, 27 January 2011

Kate Middleton’s bridesmaids are organising three days of dinners, dancing and karaoke for her bachelorette party.

The 29-year-old will marry Britain’s Prince William at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29. In order to celebrate her last few weeks as a single girl, Kate’s sister Pippa is planning a weekend of fun for Kate and her closest friends in the last week of March.

Fifteen guests have been invited to the party, including several of William’s female cousins. Socialites Rose Astor and Emilia d’Erlanger, who are set to be Kate’s bridesmaids, will also attend.

“Kate was desperate to have a hen do, but a boozy night out on the town was never really an option – plus, that’s not really her style,” a source told Grazia.

Pippa is believed to have chosen one of the British royal family’s country homes – either Balmoral Castle in Scotland or Frogmore House in England - for the exclusive event.

On the first day, staff from Kate’s favourite London salon will travel to the secret location to treat guests to manicures and pedicures. A dinner, disco and karaoke have been planned for the second day, followed by a more formal lunch on the final day.

“The second night will start with a three-course dinner followed by dancing. Kate has apparently asked for her favourite DJ, Sam Young, and a karaoke machine,” the source added. “The next day will be more formal, with Kate’s mother Carole and William’s cousins Zara Phillips, along with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie joining the hens for lunch.”

During the bachelorette party, Kate will be presented with a gold bracelet featuring a charm selected by each guest.

So the past NINE years of her life boozing up with Will was just not her thing. Please.

I will say that I like that it's more a weekend thing and it's a few different events; lunch, disco party and manicure etc. It sounds like a nice girls weekend away.

During the bachelorette party, Kate will be presented with a gold bracelet featuring a charm selected by each guest.

I have an idea for one... a little gold shovel B)

The film is likely to be aired in the week before the royal wedding on 29 April

A film about the romance between Prince William and Kate Middleton is being made by US TV network Lifetime.
The movie's producers said it would chart "the ups and downs of their nine-year courtship complicated by social and royal family pressures".
Nico Evers-Swindell will play William, while British Chariots of Fire actor Ben Cross will play Charles. The role of Kate Middleton has yet to be cast.
It is likely to be aired in the week before the royal wedding on 29 April.
Lifetime said the movie would chronicle the couple's history "from the moment the two students met at Scotland's prestigious University of St Andrews".
The network said it would also address the "intense global media attention surrounding their storybook nuptials".
Meanwhile, BBC America has announced a new two-part programme which will bring royal wedding fanatics from the US to the UK.
British presenter Cat Deeley will act as a tour guide as four fans are taken on a royal-themed journey around London.
