Project Runway Season 3

I'm not allowed to have my own opinion? If iI feel something is trashy garbage I'm going to say so. I don't have to like every damn thing or person I choose to gaze at.

was this addressed to me?
i don't care if you express you opinions. by all means, feel free.
i'm allowed to express mine as well.:innocent:

thepeppers, sorry to hear about the condition of the dress. i wonder if it was originally that way or just became that way over time. i'd love to see pics of it regardless!

Project Runway
The return of Vincent and Angela (9/14/06)
And did the demented duo let us down? They did not. Given a smart challenge — to design a cocktail dress in black and white, using every square inch of cloth you purchased — Vincent and Angela's comeback quickly turned into a go-away-again. Why? Because Angela designed a ''shrug'' (that's fashionspeak for ''bizarrely tiny doggie jacket that real humans don't wear'') that made her model look like Little Bo Peep — that is, if Little Bo Peep had slaughtered a lamb, skinned it, buried it, and worn the little furry pelt to its funeral. And because Vincent made a sticky-looking black skirt that rode up his model's backside like underwear on a cross-country Greyhound trip, and solved the fact that he bought enough black fabric to outfit the Flying Nun by simply dumping the bolt over his model's shoulders. Bye again, guys! Seriously: Show up one more time, and I'm calling an exorcist. — Mark Harris

yeah me too :( i felt bad for him after he said that..i thought he was arrogant before that. that's great he's opening a store!

I just saw that episode and I also thought he was arrogant. The part about his mom didn't get to me as much as part where after being eliminated, he said something along the lines of him never being able to fit in anywhere and this was the first time he felt like he was part of something.

I love Alison. She cute and she's coming up with great stuff!

for some reason this dress from topshop totally reminds me of jeffrey's dress for the first challenge. The colouring particularly, though the design is simplified. And of course, minus the top he put over it.

Life After Project Runway: Jeffrey's Back!

jeffrey_sebelia_300x400.jpg

Project Runway winner Jeffrey Sebelia was all smiles the other night in Los Angeles at the launch party for his line at the celeb-fave boutique, Ron Herman. Fans can now snap up a few pieces from his finale show, including the infamous green-and-white striped zipper dress for a cool $1300, the zipper bag and blazer, as well as other pieces from his Cosa Nostra women’s line. But don't think that Sebelia is resting on his PR laurels. Also in the works: an appointment-only boutique in West Hollywood in February, costume-designs for an upcoming live action Bratz movie, uniforms for a restaurant and maybe even outfiting a star or two for the Grammys. "I've had some calls," he tells PEOPLE. "But I don't know. It's right around the corner!"

While Project Runway winner Jeffrey is enjoying his success, another of the show's "auf-ed" contestants isn't as lucky. Do you recall Angela's lone victory (that she scored with more than a little bit of guidance from Michael and Laura)? Apparently, the rosette-adorned suit didn't fly off the shelves the way that INC might have hoped -- we ran across it drastically reduced on the macys.com site recently. The jacket was $129 and is now $25, while the pants are now $17 from $89. Still, not a bad price to pay now for a piece of TV history.

it didnt sell because they cheapened it and the colors are tweaked.

yeah they did make it look a lot cheaper...wasn't it like a dark grey almost black pant and jacket...and a super pale pink...i liked the outfit on the show, of course some people might not want to buy something that angela made...i dont think i would after seeing some of the outfits she sent down the runway :innocent:

Just browsing Neiman Marcus, and I saw this dress by our 'favorite' judge, Michael Kors. Is it just me, or does it look incredibly Laura-esque?

^ Totally. I have noticed the judge/designers copying contestants on the show before. Though I don't have any examples right now. That Kors dress is a blatant copy!

FINALLY received the dress of Laura's that I won on Bravo's auction from her final challenge/ fashion show collection. I must say that the dress is in worse condition than I expected. The straps and hooks are all broken, there is NO zipper, and the only thing closing the dress is a large snap. Will definitely have to get it altered. This was NOT one of the dresses they had to make in 24 hours, it was one they had 2 months to do, and it was done by Laura, who supposedly has great craftmanship. I am glad to get the dress, just sort of sad in the state its in. Poor dress. :(

My goodness. What a disappointment.

What dress is it? Her dresses always looked so well put together.
