yay, miss. usa wore the dress! kudos to her for following through. i thought it was gorgeous. kayne was right in choosing that color. it was beautiful against her skin tone. some of the other dresses were boring.

^it doesn't fit perfectly though, it's got a weird bulge/wrinkle near the top of her thigh, like it's not sitting properly.

i dont think that malan should have been kicked off, annoying as he was.

yes, he made something ugly. but is it worse to make something ugly or to make nothing at all (as the case in angela or andrea or whatever her name is)

K... Did Nick from Season design a gown for Ms. Universe? Also, I also thought that Ms. USA dress had some fit problems but it did look nice against her skin tone.

Probably a silly q, but it's been driving me crazy- I always see the PR designers spraying stuff from a giant can onto their fabrics. Can anyone tell me (or give their best guess) as to what that is?

I absolutely loved Kayne's dress on Tara tonight

I was pleasantly surprised with how Kayne's dress looked on Tara. I thought it was reminiscent of the Jessica McClintock gowns that the girls were wearing during my prom days, especially with the irridescent fabric.

The gown made her look tall, which was great considering the fact she was the shortest girl among the finalists at 5'5. The jewelry was beautiful in the front, and the color stood out among the other gowns. Too bad her hair was covering the upper back though, because I wanted to see the detail of the straps.

well my best guess is that it's that anti-static stuff, static guard or something like that?

that's a pretty dress. i'm not a fan of those earrings though. in some shots it made it look like her dress started from her ears. anyway, the color of the dress against her skin is gorgeous and i'm glad she wore a dress from an up-and-comer. good publicity for the show as well. not a big fan of pageant dresses but some of them are actually tolerable. canada's white dress looked very versace (in a good way) and just had enough sparkle. imagine if tara chose laura's. they'd be quite similar. i also agree that japan's was too casual. somebody introduce her to austin or kayne, stat!
