I would buy Jay's dress in a heartbeat. so freaking gorgeous! 
HEADS UP: Bravo is showing all three episodes tonight at 8. If you don't get Bravo call a friend who does and beg them to tape it.
In fact, call all your friends anyway - because it seems to be struggling in the ratings and it woulod be great if it picked up and we could get another season.

I loved Jay's the best from the last episode and it seemed like hardly any time had passed and it was like "WAM!" - you have this incredible bodice, absolutely gorgeous, he should have won but its like someone said, can BR mass produce it? And how much will it cost? But that was stunning. I just wish he nixed that ugly *** flower.
He surprised me with that dress b/c he really looked like he was having issues. And I really didn't care for his previous looks, In fact I hated them. I hate the whole graffiti thing, it's overdone.
The one who did the leopard dress, I like his original idea, I think it was white and teal. He should have known that his final dress was not BR material.
Austin's was nice, but I don't really think it was very BR. He shows a lot of great talent, but the previews for tonight's new episode don't look good for him.
Wendys dress was nice, I don't think it should have won, but it was certainly a huge improvement from her last disasters.

I agree. Reality TV is way overrated and I do believe is ruins the beauty of everything. Some of those contestants go on the show to have their 5 minutes of fame, while there are other out there who have been working and dedicating their lives to really do what these reality shows are looking for.rayncloudx said:

that mom wendy person kinda scares me...her evil plotting and all that. that cape thingy she made just looks like a piece of leftover fabric draped over the dress

Caught up by watching Episode 1 and Episode 2 during Sunday's mini-marathon. When ignitioned32 started a thread on this topic, my gut reaction was that crediblity would be key to this show having any sort of legitimacy. I'll say it does while being entertaining. Aside from two or three contestants, everyone is likeable. The models are good too (except for that Josiane).

just saw episode two and three..
i'm so gla that anorexic girl got sent home...she was so bad...
that was so lame tht the basic black dress won the banana competition...how much more boring does it get...
but i really liked the art deco bodice based on the chrysler building...if only he had left off the rhinestone belt and the big flower...etc...all the detail in the bodice was plenty...
nora's design was pretty...but i think that her sewing skills are questionable...the white dress she did in episode two was really poorly made...

Wendy's was barely "designed", but remember, Banana Republic knew beforehand that they would be obligated to sell a dress, so they picked the one with the cheapest manufacturing costs. I mean, don't you think that's why they eliminated the immunity part? They didn't want to punish the kids they felt had talent if someone like Wendy (or Starr or Robert) were to come up with the archetypal BR holiday dress. Does that make sense?
Austin's dress was one of the most beautiful, sure - but the assignment this week was to design a "holiday" (in America that's Christmas/New Years, not resort) dress for BR. Wendy's dress sucked, but she satisfied the the "client"'s criteria. If we are talking about the fashion industry, that's sort of important, don't you think? Still wonder what was "deco" about it though - especially considering the Breakfast at Tiffany's styling she gave it for the runway. Starr's, though poorly executed, got the deco requirement right (did you see her T-shirt? It's on the Bravo site). It might have looked good without a contrasting underskirt.
