it's weird though, cause the purple naked 'project' has been going on for years now. i guess the photographers were just lazy?

I think it's a question of saving money.

But I'm also dissapointed by this 'Purple Naked' ed. Not becasue it looks so much like that VN shoot, but because this ed has not the sense of purity the other naked eds have. It's becasue of her tan, her hair do and the fact that soem shots are not in black & white. It's still a good ed, but just not a good 'Purple Naked' ed.

^ Haven't some of their other 'nude studies' had colour shots? I think Lara's editorial did, but someone could correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally, I think the two shots of Raquel with her fists clenched ready to punch someone ruin the whole editorial. They just look so silly.

^I don't recall coloured pics in Lara's ed, but it could very well be the case. But in Raquels ed, the coloured pics enhance the bronzed, tanned and hard feel in the black & white shots.
