Roberto Cavalli for H&M

^Sounds like you were lucky! To get what you originally wanted :flower:
Have you seen the black trench coat?
I was thinking about buying that, but somewhere in this thread I read that most of the fabrics/pieces are poor quality..

I saw the mens one... but for girls the sizes would be too big I think.
It looked nice...

ps. All the stuff we got were of good quality..I wouldnt say the same for the animal print dresses..they look like something you could get from Macy's anytime.

I was also thinking about getting the tights.. But 15 euros is a bit too much for something that most likely will break at some point! And Im pretty sure you can get animal print ones from somewhere else too.

I will try and take a picture of me wearing the cardi today and post it here.

oh my god i just got back from the store and let me tell you it was insane!
the whole collection was gone after about 30 seconds. and i mean gone, nothing left at all!
half an hour after the store opened they were already putting their regular h&m stuff on the racks where cavalli used to be..
i got a hold of the trench, but i didn't like it so i put it back.
i wasn't too impressed, although i didn't get to see everything because everything was gone too fast.

Men i just came back from H&M and it was crazy i just could get the leopard corset and the black leather jacket with bangs.

Just got back and it was crazy here as well. Literally everything was gone the minute they opened the doors. I was there right in time but hardly managed to get anything.
I didn't like most of the stuff especially not the fringe leather jacket and the furry one. I didn't like any of the pants either.
The only item that I actually liked and tried to get my hands on was the black and white blazer. I only got one in a 34 and it was slightly tight so I'm not sure I'll keep it. Will try to post pics later.

I just saw the video online of the Dutch people fighting in Amsterdam for pieces:lol: LOL!
Everything was gone in about 30 seconds and you can see the security screaming to the girls that they need to calm down, but no one listens:P

you can watch it here http://www.elle.nl/tv/
and click on ''Cavalli's modeslagveld'' means Cavalli's fashionbattle:D (or battlefield..something like that)
It might be the first video that opens

does anyone have videos like this, from reactions in other countries? :flower:

im not even trying to go there (as i'd only like the animal print b/w dress and by now it'll be gone for sure...) but as for the animal print thighs, you'll easily find em cheaper anywhere else, girls. i was wearing them A LOT when i was a young punk (ahahah) and they looked exactly like those and were cheaper. in london they're easy to find, but i actually saw them in places like accessorize recently :D

Here in Glasgow everything was gone pretty soon too. I tried two pieces, and I didn't like them, so I think I was the only one who was queueing and bought nothing :P

yep, that video pretty much sums up what happened here in today. i hope next years they'll pick a less know designer (to the masses) again, that was insane!

Uh, I hadn't seen the video. We were much more civilized in Glasgow :P

What I hate is that, people buying like mad because the tag says Roberto Cavalli. You saw how they were grabbing things without looking at them. For me fashion and clothes are a different thing, not what is shown there.

^^Good to know it's different in Glasgow! If there will ever be a designer creating a collection I love, I'll know it's save there:lol:

I'm so glad I didn't go to Amsterdam:P! Like, the video totally proves why!
I was thinking about going yesterday, but since I couldn't figure the website out and didn't know which piece I really liked AND my sis didn't want to join me, I decided not to go.
And from what I see on eBay and other sites now, it's really not worth it. The trench I was interested in (since this morning) looks tacky. It has white things around the neck¿

On a populair Dutch site (it's like eBay, but national) there are already people bidding double the original price. It's insane . People are hysterical over this.

Last time with Viktor & Rolf the web-launch caused a lot of trouble. Having people almost check their stuff out and then some pop up would let know it was sold out. They were furious. I wonder how It will be tonight:innocent:..

It was all sould out when i got to the H&M store after school today, the only thing that was left was tights and ugly white and black leopard print pants...didn't like the very much since they reminded me of something my mum had when i was a kid.
Anyway i guess ppl will be wearing cavalli dresses this christmas

Seriously, this is the first H&M + designer collaboration that I see in a store (I'm studying here, in my hometown we never get these things) and it was disappointing. At first I was excited about this, but most of the clothes were things that you can only wear to parties and that kind of events (and some were very tacky), and the price was too much.

I thought I was going to see a lot of stylish people in the queue outside the store, but it was the opposite, people only wanting to pay for a name, so I guess that was another factor that made me feel disappointed.

Oh, and I was amazed by the sizes, they were quite big, but I only buy basic t-shirts at H&M, so I don't really know if it's usually like that.
