I really need to buy a new pair of sneakers. My last pair were from Coach and I love them, but want a darker-coloured pair. The only pair I vaguely like from there at the moment I think are these, I was wondering what you think.

mj- nay to both.. i think there are better boots out there that look better quality.
hemmy- yay, cute.
rosalynn- i like the color compared to brown, yay.

Two pairs of boots, one pair of sandals, and one pair of sneakers. Time to sway interest.

Those are going to get a Yay! from me. The navy blue kind of color is different from usual blacks or browns. Cute little pair of booties there styled just right. Almost like a mary jane with those buckles across the boots.

Uh... I'm going to have to [slightly] Nay! those mid-calf boots. I'm not really feeling these enough to say they're lovely. I'll hand out only a moderate fail to these.

Too much? I want to say nay, but I actually like these to an extent. So these get only a slight Yay! from me. The overall design of the sandals is very acceptable and fun. Perhaps the kind of sandals to go with if you're wearing long skirts or long dresses. Not fully in love with them, but just enough into them to recommend them. So yay.

You know, it's very common to see anything Coach in the usual two shades of brown they come in. Gray and black are different, but... I think I'm going to Nay! these as well. I would probably seek a pair of "sporty cute" sneakers if you're going for a fashionable pair of sneakers. These "sporty cute" sneakers would be a pair of sneakers with some athletic-inspired elements, while not being a proper pair of atheltic sneakers. But if you fancy canvas sneakers, there are a number of other different canvas sneakers (or how much do you want to stay away from Converses?) to tickle your fancy. I'm not feeling these Coach canvas sneakers.

Yay booties, slightly nay mid-calf boots, slightly yay sandals, and nay canvas sneakers. Dress with confidence, everyone!

Thanks everyone for your input, I always struggle with non-heeled shoes. I've just ordered them, they'll be coming via a friend in the US so it'll be a while before I see them, but am looking forward to seeing them after your input :flower:

Too late, I bought them already :flower:

Girls here seem to like them, guys don't!

Rosalyn, I say YAY to the sneakers. Grey is a nice change from the usual tan/brown. I like what John M says- Bebe has some like that that are cute as does Puma... I think the grey will go with jeans- blue, gray, and or black. I like "menswear" sneakers on women sometimes. I bought my wife a pair on the hightops several years ago. She has some tight knee length jean shorts they look cute with. She wore them out one night last summer when we were at the beach. They are pretty well made also.

Those sandals in Post #193 are pretty nice... but not nice enough. I'll have to Nay! these unfortunately. If it wasn't as strappy or didn't have the kind of sole it has (why mix two different materials to make a sole like that?), I might yay it. Too much going on. They're nice, but I'd look elsewhere. Look for another pair of wedge sandals instead. Perhaps another pair of platform wedge sandals.

That's two nay's for those so far between me and from: sophia.

PinkPrincess113 yay to the boots!
but, big nay for the sandals!

Mild Nay to the sandals. I think the heel is too low for the platform especially with the 2 materials. They are ok just kind of blah. BiG YAY to the boots!!!!!!!
