I agree. The inspiration is cool, but they are not interesting as a group. I am excited to see Women. IMG is always pretty boring, it's nice to see who is going to be in town and if the have any new faces, but they never do anything special for the cards.

I am wondering the same thing, what is Women Direct?? It can't be their development board, because they have newer faces on the Women's board (Alexa Yudina, Valeria Sokolova), but it is their "little sister".. and there is Natasa V... who is a very very established face.. weird
^In Milan it was Names Model and its show division now it is Names Runway.

i agree ^^^the direct division seems to often be experienced models who are not huge stars but that one can book for lower level jobs.. but not usually new faces who are usually in development

Yes, when you hear direct you think of e.g. NEXT Direct or Elite Direct (or direct bookings if it's a mother agency).... Really weird name to choose if they want to promote it as something other than a b-list division...
So, unless that is the intention... but then why would these new girls want to be represented by "Women Direct"? Some of them could easily sign with other top agencies. And what is Natasa doing there (just a token girl to up the cool factor?)...

Yeah i was thinking the same, why would a girl want to be represented by an agency that is not willing to put them on their main development board. I don't think that is the case, I think maybe their development board is swamped with just too many faces and they are trying to market a new "cooler" board with up and comers?? But then why didn't they just edit their main development board to begin with (esp with the thread about the recession and modeling). So many questions and speculations..
