and if there was an Asian girl at a show it was either Liu or Tao so I think Tao is kind of a lock too. Not sure about the girls who walked only one very exclusive show or smaller ones plus a big one like Tabea.

her momentum has been building since NY, then Prada, Dolce, Pucci in Milan, and now she's killing it in Paris
i'm too lazy to look up every show for the other cities, but this is pretty impressive:

There are also Alla and Lovanni from Ford but I think Jil Sander was the only major show for them. I thought Kendra did pretty well last season so I forgot about her but maybe you're right and this was her breakthrough at least I saw her on many important lists and a beauty like her would deserve it and she's American(?) which could be interesting for the list.

But actually I really forgot Anne de Rijk she is a possibility. I will take her over Alla on my list.

Also, Lovani has done some major shows besides Jil Sander, she did Nina Ricci if I remember correctly, and some other pretty big shows

And Kendra spears would be a lock, but I'm not sure if style.com will consider it her first season, she did pretty decent last season, although she has really broken out this season

This is my temporary list for style.com's F/W09.10 top 10 newcomers:

1. Kendra Spears/Ford (style.com love's girls who do well in their 2nd season, think Anna G., Karmen, & Georgina during F/W08. It's also a plus that she's American and the only girl from Ford who did pretty well this time)

2. Alla Kostromicheva /Women Direct (opened YSL and McQueen, nuff said)

3. Tao Okamoto/Supreme (despite being around for years already this was her breakthrough season ala Jourdan & Iris during F/W08, it's a plus that she's asian too)

4. Katie Fogarty/Next (another American girl who did well in her 2nd season)

5. Karolin Wolter/Supreme (she was everywhere!)

6. Nimue Smit/Women (did really well in her 2nd season esp. in Milan where she booked almost everything)

7. Hannah Rundolf/Marilyn

8. Dorothea Barth Jorgensen/Women Direct

9. Rose Cordero/Supreme or Gracie Carvalho/Marilyn (the trend towards diversity should conitnue so either girls might make it or not...which I doubt)

10. Monika "Jac" Jagaciak/IMG or Anastasija Kondratjeva/NY (despite not showing up in Paris, Jac was clearly the best in NY and Milan, and every season there should always be a newcomer from IMG ; an alternate would be Anastasija from NY ala Sigird 2.0)
