Shots on Neopan negative are improbably beautiful!!! I think even Lindbergh couldn't do better. Really!pamelaz said:Some new work.![]()

I love how surreal it is, fragile but yet complex. It's somewhat interesting to look at. What's the idea behing the shoot? Grounded people? Balance? Intimacy? Freedom? My translation!

For anyone who doesn't already know ... Being a winner in the Surface Magazine's annual "Avant Gaurdian" competition is about a prestigious as it gets for an emerging photographer. This is like winning an Oscar!!!
Congratulations!!!!
BTW ... that sure looks like a Holga you used for this editorial. Am I correct or were you able to get that effect by other means?
i actually used a diana camera, which is essentially just like a holga, but older and, in my opinion, a "better" camera. i just like dianas better, they feel more stable to me, have less light leaks, are a bit easier to control (not in terms of the output, but in terms of the actual shape of the camera) and i've had better luck with dianas than holgas with the way my pictures come out. plus, my diana has sentimental value
