there is only one h&m for the city, and the city itself has a population of about 1 million.

but it is certainly not the most 'fashion forward' city, or even very connected in that sense. i feel sometimes like they're kind of in a time warp here.

i guess it is just very different for me, coming from sydney. also the weather here is so cold for so much of the year that practicality and warmth wins over the coolness or prettiness factor, which is understandable i guess.
..i'm not sure what it is.. zara, for example, has lovely stock, and similar to what i remember in europe.. it is also a large store. h&m, while it is also a large store, just seems to dedicate a lot of space to these suits and flouncy little tops in cheap materials that would be acceptable for boring workplaces and after work drinks.

definitely not my kind of lifestyle which is why i guess i can't relate..
i've bought a few cute things lately...mainly cotton striped tops..

otherwise it's pretty disappointing... just very cheap looking, that's the main thing i notice.. the quality of their material seems really plastic-y compared even to somewhere like zara.
