It fits you nicely and it looks perfect for winter. If the fact that there's no lining is bugging you, throw a slip on underneath. And if it's something you can see yourself wearing a lot, there's no problem with a little splurge!

I really want that dress too! Did you get it in london? Is it trend? It looks great...and to be honest, the price is probably the reason you won't see lots of people walking around in the same dress, which is a good thing.

heres my 2 cents,

well the way i buy things is if i can wear it for a really long time( few months for me) then i can rationalize the price. Like say i buy a 40$ plain shirt and wear it 3 times a week for 3 months. if i did the math correctly ill wear the shirt 36 times. so 40/36= $1.11 for everyday i wear it. Thats the technical way of thinking about it.

I think this kind of thinking only works when investing in basics that are expensive. if you are gunna wear this all the time then i say keep it but since its a dress you might get bored of it fast. another thing is its a dress and you might want to invest since its a fancier. if you can go to an event wearing an $80 dress then thats pretty good.

Its really up to you but thought id give you my perspective.
