... So my theory is that one's H&M experience really depends on which store they visit.

So very true. I remember walking into and H&M in Irvine,CA - only to find myself disappointed in the selection. Theirs wasn't nearly as grand as the one in LA's Beverly Center.

H&M is finally coming to my city (lucky for me, just a walk away) and I hope their selections don't disappoint!

Does anyone know if H&M in general has any cute jackets right now? I don't feel like making the trek there to be disappointed by their selection

(aka i'm lazy )

yes they actually have tons of constructed jackets! they have it available in a lot of vibrant colours.

they also have rain jackets in soft colours like the lavender one in the ads. just check the store out and see what youll like. :)

I bought this dress today.^_^

I just bought a black high waisted skirt from here and love it

picture please? :flower: i've been looking for one for ages and H&M is very confusing to me (okay, maybe because i always go to the ones in Oxford St. which are a mess haha)

also, they're selling the kate moss-ish boots now, only 20 quid i think? you know, the minnetonka (sp?) type

oh and omg, that black heart bag looks like something out of claire's!

My mom tried on that dress! I like the version where the orange and pink are replaced with a darker grey and a silver. I got this floral-y shirt. I need to take a pic soon.

Also does anyone like their sunglasses? I bought some cute ones for only $9!

i agree with this so much!
every time i go to the h&m at my nearest mall, i find myself so disappointed by the lack of things that i go to h&m the most for (socks, tights, scarves, etc.), whereas if i take the train to manhattan, i'll find a way better selection of what i'm looking for.

on a different note, i recently bought a purple floral frilly scarf from h&m. it's so pretty and smooth to feel, hahaha.

I think I got the same one as well! It fits the flowery mood of spring really well. I love it.

Does anyone have a photos of the slouchy pants that are rolled at the ankle? I know you can look a photos online but not for US. Thanks.

I havent shopped at H&M for a while but today I got an emerald green (I guess bandage) fitted dress with a 3/4 sleeve.

I was SO close of getting those (?) last night..:wub: ..they were brown and gorgeous..
I still don't know what happened.. I had a big pile of things in my arm and had this impulse of not becoming an impulsive shopper that I impulsively.. abandoned them.. it's pretty insane :lol:.

Do H&M stores in different countries sell different things? I'd assume they would to adapt to the trends in that market but I'm not sure...

In Canada, anyway, the men's lines this spring are fairly disappointing... I found a couple of decent tees but I let my not-so-fashion-forward friend buy them -_-

The H&M stores do vary by country but the stores within the country vary too. From what i've heard, some H&M's are better than others so you'll probably have to look through dferent ones to get differnt things. There's only one H&M where I live right now and I overheard one of the employees saying our stock is shipped in from different places, makingit sound like it was all leftover. That would probably explain the poor selection. Once the oter 2 openup in my areas, I suspect it will improve.

The H&M I go to in Toronto (Eaton's Centre) is a flagship, so it has every piece of clothing in every line (in Canada, anyway). Maybe your store is just a small one, and they do a poor job of choosing items to sell in that store.

Probably, I live on the west coast so it's limited here. But it's disappointing to hear that the flagship store is disappointing. if anythings going to be anywhere, it should be there. oh well
