i have to say this hasn't really taken off as a 'trend', thank god. i can't imagine something you carry your shopping in ever being a good basis for a skirt

i think they look best on short shorts. i've seen them in an anne klein collection. they wear so cute. but a slim top is need to balance.

i have to agree...
it is the easiest shape to balance...
the easiest one to make work...
the skirt is second..

the pants are the trickiest...
but no so much if you are tall...

oh---i have seen so many lovely yohji pants that i would love to wear..
but i am just not able to carry that much fabric on my frame....

Uh... no. If anything, I've favored clean lines around the waist as opposed to this look of much greater waists for these bottoms. So this is yet another attempt to pull 21st Century world back into the 1980s with something BESIDES those eye-sores known as leggings? I still prefer waists with clean lines rather than something like this. For casuals, I'd even take frayed waists over this.

In terms of approval and acceptance, I'm giving this look (out of 100%) a percentage of 40 to 45 percent approval.

I have a skirt like that but in black, and it has a black piece of cotton that wraps around that I tie in a bow Ive been interchanging it lately to give it a different look I have gotton so many compliments on it.
