i find it so funny how skinnies are everywear & just a few years ago they were so played out I have a pair, i only wearthem once in a while, but i absolutely love them

i've live in nyc and they aren't even a trend anymore. they are just staples. hardly any stores carry bootcuts, since they look really midwestern. especially with pointy or square toe shoes. eww.

You are NOT from NYC, which part? I am from Queens. And yes, bootcuts are so, LOL@ me thinking about getting a few pair yesterday, just so I wont be so odd, because here in my part of Queens, guys dont really wear the skinny jean, moreso a slim leg or bootcut, I quickly got over it. I would never do a bootcut again.

yes, i'm from downtown new york city and live on the border of nolita and the lower east side. so, i'm usually around soho area too.

LOL@ the confusion. I like bootcut jeans on everyone other than me. I saw this one guy in particular, maybe 5'9, big dude, and they were just perfect on his muscular legs.

I was thinking about sinking into the norm for a couple of pairs, but when I began to think about how much I dislike them on me, I quickly did away with the idea. That is what I was saying. I know my jargon was a bit confusing. LOL. I wore bootcuts religiously up until last year. Seemingly, every guy that was trying to be fashionable in the urban NYC boroughs had on True Religions, Sevens, Citizens, etc, trying to fit in.

That is amazing to me, I live in small-town Georgia and ALL THE STORES SELL ARE BOOT-CUT. NO WHERE sells skinny. You wear skinny jeans and people wonder where you're from. I'm in Paris right now and stocking up!! I don't care if people think they're overdone, I will always love my skinny jeans.

I love that skinnies are a staple now, and not thought of as some overdone trend.If I even wear old boot cut jeans to do yard work or something they feel so awkward lol.

i know the feeling. i had to carry my laundry down the street in nyc, i felt like i was in a sorority with my sneakers and hoody. it was so un-hot

Yeah ,I realized that I can't wear sneakers with jeans anymore unless they're converse or vans type shoes.Wearing tennis shoes with jeans just looks terrible.

i know. i once wore my tennis shoes with my skinny because i mistakenly put the wrong shoes in my bag and it felt wrong
