Why is everybody saying she looks Asian?
I don't get it.
Are Asians the only people with dark hair? No
Are Asians the only people with slanted eyes? No...look at Katie, she has droopy eyes just like Suri.

Are there other features that are Asian that I am unaware of?

This description of Suri from the Enquirer is a bit....interesting....

Although Vanity Fair will be the first publication to run the photos of Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes' daughter Suri, leave it to The National Enquirer to get the first sneak peak of the mystery photos before hand (if only they'd share them with us!). On their website, The Enquirer gives a detailed description of the baby and in my opinion, more or less says that the kid looks nothing like Tom Cruise. They say Suri has "Katie's nose and eyes but her most distinguishing feature is a head full of dark brown hair. The hair is straight with no curls and extremely thick. In fact, she has so much hair it is combed behind her ears and well down the back of her neck!" The Enquirer also describes the different shots of Tom, Kate and Suri appearing in Vanity Fair, "the baby is sleeping while nestled against Tom's neck and shoulder as he sleeps. Another photo shows her laying in bed with Tom and Katie, smiling as Tom plays with her and Katie has a wide grin. In yet another photo, the baby is being held up outdoors, wearing a white short-sleeved dress. Her skin tone strongly resembles Katie's."

I feel so sorry for Tom and Katie. I meat at first they were getting crucified for not showing pics of the baby thus creating speculation of the baby being deformed, not existing etc.... they must have been devastated. I mean when a celeb sells pics of their baby to a magazine they often get very negative press " The baby didn't choose to be famous etc....it's not fair parading it around" But when Tom decided to wait and not release the pics straightaway, he was STILL getting criticized for NOT showing the baby! You really can't win. And now that he and Katie have finally given a world exclusive and made the pics public, they are still surrounded by unpleasent rumours " The baby looks weird, asian,older then 3months, doesn't resemble him etc...."
Something tells me this saga is FAR from over.......

I read an article a month ago or something where the author criticized celebrities like Angelina&Brad, Tom&Katie, etc. for, in one way or another, exploiting their babies. As much as I like these celebrities, I've got to admit that the way they profit from 'baby's first pictures' is kind of annoying. I mean, even if they're giving the money to charity, they're still kind of exploiting the kid.

IMO it seems like when planning the first public display of a celebrity baby, the best thing to do is to stand out in public with the baby and invite all the paps to take pictures, that way no one gets an 'exclusive' and the celebrity doesn't capitalize on their baby.

I was really hairy when I was born. Even had hair on my ears and back. I looked like a monkey. But after a few weeks the hair on my ears and back fell off. That is maybe why we didn't see Suri as soon as she was born. They didn't want the public to think it was a monkey.

What happened to the pictures of Suri thread? I have to say that the baby's eyes arent asian but Katie's. She has very droopy eyes - and this from someone who looked at them throughout six seasons of Dawson's Creek. Still, considering the amount of money they probably paid for the baby, the were bound to get one that looked like them.

In the article Katie said they weren't trying to hide the baby. If that's the case, then why were they never seen with her in paparazzi pics following the birth? Wouldn't new mothers want to take their baby out with them instead leaving the baby at home? I would want to spend as much time with my baby as I could. I know they weren't photographed every day following the birth, so there may have been days they took her out of the house with them, but you'd think there would've been at least one photo of them out and about with their baby. That's my opinion anyway.

None of this would even be an issue if Tom hadn't paraded Katie all over the place during the whole 11 months of her pregnancy in order to show what a strong, heterosexual, fertile man he is. They brought all this upon themselves with their actions leading up to the birth.

I think the baby is very cute. It is perfectly normal to have that much hair! When I was born I had loads of dark hair and looked hardly anything like my mum and dad. Now, I look just like them. So as far as that goes, it's a stupid theory. However, there is still something iffy about this, it's Tom Cruise. Things can never be normal. For a start, the cover of Vanity Fair looks eerily like the movie poster for Brokeback Mountain

people are sooo ignorant! (To all the people that say's she looks asian or part asian because of her hair color and small eyes or whatever...)Would you just stop about the whole asian thing. Whether you're caucasian, african, asian or whatever....black is a common hair color for soooo many f^^kin races!!

Suri is pretty little baby and that i think we should respect what God gave her!!! And besides she's still a baby...as in BABY!!!
