Is anyone else sick of them? I liked them when I first saw them, but then EVERYONE and their goldfish started wearing them...now I'm tired of them. :yuk:

Yes. I could actually stand to buy a pair of them in dark brown.. but I just won't. It's a trend. And I don't like trends. Besides.. a couple people in my town have them (it's a verrrry small town), so you know they're on their way out.

yeah another trend that starting to burn out :(

* apparently the shoes are really comfortable though, your suppose to wear them without socks.

* The got the name UGG cause orignally surfers from austrialia wore them to keep their feet warm. uGG is short for ugly boots :) that what the surfers nicknamed them.

* uggs are starting handbag collection as well

ive been wearing uggs for about two years. and i would always wear mine with skirts, and everyone would make fun of me. and now look at EVERYONE wearing them all the time. it kinda makes me mad now.

I hate them.. they make girls feet look like massive boats.

I bet you'll have no problem finding a pair next fall-winter!!!!

Uggly - unless you are an eskimo - them itsok - everything has a time and a place - cute girls belong in 5" stilletos!

Maybe I'll buy a pair then. I actually like them, but I would never buy any now that they are so expensive and over-done. Once the trend is over though... :innocent:

*cough* or flip flops. *cough*

sorry but i'm not wearing 5" stilettos every day.. i like my ability to walk. :D

it's actually the opposite for me...I didn't like them at first, but now they've grown on me.

I ordered mine back in the fall when i wanted them for winter, from nordstroms.com, not realizing they wouldnt come til april. i was dissapointed at first, but i go over it.
Imagine my surprise when they showed up on my doorstep last week!!! (february 16!) i was shocked at the "early" arrival, but returned them anyways because Im over them, and would rather spend my $150 someone else!
Anyone else hear of early arriving uggs??

yea i didnt like them at first either... and now that they even have imitations... but what really freaked me out was the funny picture of ugg boots in the ugly shoe forum...

Well, back in Australia, we only wear them around the house. With pyjamas. Not outside! :P

While I think they are HIDEOUS, they're suppose to keep your feet toasty warm up to 30 below 0. I live in Cleveland, and I'm moving to Chicago, and those would actually be quite nice for the winter. That being said, simply because it is a trend, I refuse to buy them.

i have Uggs in black and I live in Boston true they are a trend but what I like more about them is that they are practical this year has been quite cold and bundling up has been neccessary so a scarf, hat, winter coat and uggs are right up my alley...

All of the girls in my school that wear big brands and think they're "trendy" are wearing them and its SO sickening. I think they're too ugly. I actually think some of the knock-offs that are the same basic idea, but different style are prettier. I was looking through the school newspaper today and someone actually wrote an article titled "Ugg or Ugg-ly?" I thought that was great.

I absolutely agree with you! It's the same way at my university... I think they make people look stocky (sp?)... Some girls can make it look really cute ( for some reason I don't mind them on Kate Hudson) and others just :yuk:
