UK Vogue July 2015 : Stella Tennant by Craig McDean

I just saw this appear on my Instagram feed and it makes me rather sad. I like Stella, I'm very happy to see her land the cover but I mean, come on. This magazine is devoid of fashion content when it comes to their covers. I get that it's about 'ageless style' but even so. New blood is needed soon.

It's also a July issue yet looks like it belongs in October. Wasn't this exactly the same last year with Ageless Style cover? A mohair jumper in July if I remember rightly..

Not the most exciting styling, but such an easy beatiful cover image of her. No pretense, just her looking natural and lovely.

It looks dated, gloomy and looks like a more dash than cash (in association with H&M ) supplement. Also, I wanted emotions from this cover. Ageless issue then why not be happy about it and look like it. A smile would've sufficed. Perfect for October!

looks like a supplement cover, it's extremely dull. hate what she's wearing too.

guess this will appeal to older ladies though, looks like their style

Well obviously, but I was just talking about the cover in general.:pink:

I love Stella, but wow, they have her looking like a dull stiff here.

Wonder if Roversi shot this cover again, how annoying they never credit the Photographer with the released image!

I got excited when I read it was Stella and even though I like the easy going vibe I was hoping for something more glamorous, I´m dissapointed :(

We went from a gorgeous, summery, vibrant, sexy cover last month...to this. I adore Stella and she actually looks nice and I don't mind the outfit but the background just makes it so gloomy. I don't mean to say that we should have another beach shoot, but it is summer time - something fun and energetic and dynamic would be great.

Stella is such an intriguing beauty that while it is nice to see her in a more 'natural' way, they could have played on her quirkiness more. It does look a little like a supplement cover as others have said, but Vogue UK are doing a fantastic job at supporting models on the cover almost every month recently so I'll give them that.

This... is really bad. That top looks like a work shirt from Banana Republic. Where's the styling? Where's the excitement? Where's the fashion? This would be better suited for Time Magazine than the cover of Vogue UK. Just bad.

Not really feeling the overall cover. Love Stella, but they photoshopped her too much and still looks kind tired. The hair color doesn't help either. Hopefully there's an edit with better shots of Stella.
