the cover looks the same to me, but i can see some jane in the pages posted...
the mix of thick and think typefaces is something paul ritter did when he redesigned that magazine...

i'm going to be disappointed if this starts to look like a mishmash of jane, elle, and vitals...
i mean elle definitely has its own vibe and it would be nice to see zee, et. al. use that as a basis for the new design, not copy other mags...
elle is never going to be vogue italia...

i was just thinking the exact same thing. she kind of looks like christie brinkley.. which would be a compliment if she wasn't 30 years younger!.

Yeah it is but the vast majority of people that read Elle in the States aren't going to know that because they don't look at/read Vogue Italia like we do

I think the cover is not that bad at all,i have seen worse ELLE covers.And Lindsay dosent look old to me at all,but i agree about the editorial.I am so sick of the edits about celebs,its passe now,enough!

I do not mind the choice Elle has made with Lindsay Lohan.
I like her, and this is coming NOT from one of her teeny fans.

Her problems over-shadow her talent.
She's VERY photogenic.

She's a good actress whose made some bad choices. Her issues are personal, not professional. So, whatever. I happen to think she looks great on the cover.
