What the hell happened to their circulation? They lost 166,526 subscribers this year. Now wonder they are going to 8 issues a year. I wonder if Anna is being pushed out somehow. The predecessor she pushed out had risen Vogue’s circulation from 600,000 to the 1.2 million they were accustomed to all these years. Maybe why it’s being more hush hush about her last issue as editor although funny enough her name is still at the very top of the masthead and larger than Chloe.

I have seen worse covers than this. Mario and Annie made some photoshop disasters in the past. I remember the Sienna Miller one from 2006 (or 05?), when her head and body aren't matching at all. Also the covers can be horribles because the subject. Melania's must be one of the most hated now. Kim and Kanye cover isn't wrong in terms of photography, but still lots of people dislike this kind of celebs (but at the same time the sales goes to the Moon, just like Chalamet). I would look up in one thread the 37 years of Anna together and make a pool with the worst and best of course. My favorites are the ones with models like Gisele, Natalia or Carmen. Covers with (legit, real!) models are not so retouched. And are more neutral as the ones with celebs.

no wonder, I can't remember the last time I bought a single issue, and my subscription ended years ago. This issue alone is pure garbage. There's nothing appealing in it, I wouldn't take it if they offered it to me for free

Wait - so "Into the Night" and "Secrets & Spies" from UK Vogue are not part of the US edition?
I would expect at least for "Into the Night" to be a shared content among the two.

i mean madonna and meisel did something simmilar

i think they were inspired by chanel's outer space set + dune etc etc (tho this press was for marty express which they could have easily done something inspired by that would have suited vogue + timmy well)

anyway, timothee is not great in still photos, even meisel kinda flubbed w him, his chanel ads are baaad.. i think hes soo beautiful, handsome in motion but stills are different, annie deserves some blame but not all

^ according to BoF, Leibovitz said the inspiration was Le Petit Prince as reaction of the current social mood. Also confirms this is Anna last issue, and she "leaves with her", likely she won't photograph the Vogue cover again, something I don't believe.

They should've just put the Chanel Models on the cover. Can't get over how bad the cover and editorial are.
US Vogue should have published two covers to choose from like last December with Kaia Gerber: One with Chalamet and another with the models in Chanel. Especially since it was such a big Chanel moment/event. I am sure print sales whould have been bigger.
