This is not the full editorial, there are only three pictures of Lily and the rest are shots of various accessories. She is so cute in these pictures.

Thank you for scans!! = karma  you're right, even i dont like her so much she looks cute in that hair! :D

sorry for the sloppy scans - I did not have time to redo them.

With exception to the cover, the word I would use to summarize my feelings of this issue is "lively". I enjoyed this issue.^_^

The B&W picture of Kate by Bruce, wearing a Marc Jacobs cardigan and striped pants, reminds me so inexplicably of The Great Gatsby that I can't help but love it. It's a charming editorial, and while I'd been flipping through the issue, having all but forgotten it was lurking inside, I caught a surprise glimpse and did an admiring double-take.

And it's good to see Kate back in US Vogue, if only for the sake ending her longtime absence, and not because it results in seeing one of my favorite models in one of my favorite magazines-- I'd rather encourage her umpteenth feature for Vogue Paris, in that case. :P But like I said, her absence actually had me wondering.

David Sims' editorial with Caroline Trentini bores me slightly, though, I have to admit. I've seen one like it in every issue for the past five years... While I can like the odd studio shot, these I speak of lack the enigmatic qualitites which make my favorites from Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, et al. still so wonderful. But I might just be having an unjustified nostalgic moment,...:ninja: Even I know Irving Penn still ocassionally contributes beyond the odd still-life.

Caroline Trentini's editorial reminds me of Gisele's numerous editorials in US Vogue. You know, the ones where she makes funny faces and laughes while jumping around in weird/odd positions.

I still like it though.

I think it's awfully boring. Perhaps it's her fake tan or the make-up. It looks like a 60s inspired editorial gone wrong. Or actually, some of those late 60s Penn stories were kind of *yawn* as it was B)

^ agreed
boring stu-pid-dio shot, done with silly pose and fake cheerful expressions
so sick

i don't think i've ever read through a Vogue so fast. most of the articles are very interesting.

I really enjoyed this issue of Vogue; it pretty much had everything I expect from the magazine. The articles are fashion related and actually relatable – especially the Great Style at Great Price section – I love the designers that were featured. The editorials are good (I just wish there were more of them) and Cate Blanchett’s editorial as mentioned before is amazing. The article on the Japanese architect Kazuyo Sejima – an extraordinary talent, also blew me away. And I thought the Condoleezza Rice piece was an interesting read whether you love her or hate her. Overall, this issue is packed with interesting content and is almost a perfect issue for a fashion magazine – imo of course

Ugh, MK and A Olsen creating tees unattainable to the public. How gauche. I think Cate B looks positively ethreal on the cover though.
