Vanity Fair September 2015 : Taylor Swift by Mario Testino

Very Liberace or Phantom of the Opera...

Gorgeous, the text is awful, but i love hie dark it is. And she looks great in the spread.

Oh my goodness! This looks harsh!

Is there a storm? She looks like she's holding for her dear life not to be blown by the storm.

It's such a generic idea... not to mention I'm siiiick of her.

Not really a fan of this but good for Taylor. I'm curious about the "Shrunk Supermodel" article

The cover literally looks like a Jack Daniels label. The editorial isn't as bad.

Very harsh and tacky. Looks like Terry Richardson shot it - never a compliment.

i think the biggest issue with the cover is the harsh lighting that doesnt flatter her face. Only someone with intense bone structure would pull off such lighting. It needed shadows and well timed light to flatter it
I love the ed tho especially the black and white shot. Theres something 70s supermodel about it

Font overload! Perfect cover for Vanity Fair...not necessarily a good thing.

My eyes while trying to read the headlines:

This just feels lazy and too harsh. Taylor is absolutely gorgeous and this is the best they could come up with? She has such an interesting face and yet they just went with tacky glamour.. Blehh.

However,Terry's shoots are more diversified & there is more action on set

Maybe there was no time, maybe the photo editor jucst picked similar images, but some are so similar that it could be a photoshop copy & paste job.

I too wish VF would move away from the Old Hollywood Schtick they always do and create more modern portfolios.
