Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025

I do assume the influencer segment isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, especially with Amazon’s massive input. From what was revealed on the red carpet, you could buy every look directly from Amazon.

grace elizabeth deserved another outfit. she looked stunning

the camera man was a big fan of karol g or her team paid to focus on her. bella killed it and looked amazing, kinda reminded me of 2000s gisele (the look, not the walk). also, valentina is the first colombian model to walk for vs and they didn't choose her for this segment?

they did abby champion dirty with those outfits (same with mathilda and stella)

they tried to give adriana and alessandra their moment with the last outfits but ruined it with gigi and bella. bella couldn't handle those wings

My rambling thoughts:

-Opening segment had strange energy and everything was a little too copper-toned for me. I may be biased but Alessandra looked incredible, she really still has so much charisma on that catwalk. Adriana looked a bit stiff to me, and her closing walk is very wonky. Barbara and Candice were lovely as well. Lily A, I will never understand how you were an angel in the first place.
-I see they kept the styling of last year and trying to incorporate less lingerie and more covered up pieces. Part of me thinks they need to go back to costume inspired looks, but just keep the tackiness in check.
-The wings are cheap. The investment in the wings is part of the fantasy. Gigi's closing wings looked like a mattress.
-Standouts: Grace, Imaan, Yasmin, DAIANE; total bombshells in the classic sense. This is what the future of VS should be.
-I get models like Anok, Paloma, Devyn, etc. being given attention, but the energy is just off.
-Karol G's Red Segment was really the only sexy thing in this show. And music-wise, the previous show was better.
-Them not showing Amelia's face for her first look . . . LOL
-Pink segment should have never been a part of this. ALTHOUGH this might have been the only time I was okay with Lila Moss.
-Angelina's Toxic lipsynch . . .
-Liu Wen, I love her but not for this show . . .
-Amelia is so drag-a-licious
-Bella, what is that closing?!

Overall: I think better than last year, but last year had a better cast and music. Maybe this show should really be left to the past . . .

Same conclusion. There was an improvement in most aspects except the cast and musical numbers. Truthfully VS will forever chase its own shadow. The Pink segment with influencers and other non-models looks like it’s here to stay courtesy of Amazon sponsorship.
This show will never live up to what it was before and unfortunately nostalgia is a powerful drug.

PINK is a difficult sub-brand, since part of the clothing lineup is leggings / pants / sweats and clothing not necessarily associated with HF. Or, if PINK did do HF pants / leggings, it would sort of take away from the casual element of PINK.

Quick thoughts on the show
I must say this year's show was a significant improvement from 2024. The energy, production, and overall vibe felt so much more polished and alive. You could see the models were actually having fun, and that enthusiasm on the runway made such a difference.

Alex Consani was an absolute star for me as well as Bella Hadid her tan along with the red outfit was so striking, one of my favourite looks from the show for sure. Candice was incredible as well she definitely stood out to me the most this year. They finally did Adriana right, although I didn't enjoy her look in the first segment, the wings were not doing it for me.

If I had to critique anything, I thought some of the wings and costumes felt a little repetitive or uninspired. I think we have seen the same motifs before.

Missy and Madison Beer had set the perfect hype and glam level. Missy was such a great choice she brought the energy up so much I really enjoyed watching her set.

Overall, easily one of their more successful shows in quite some time. If this is how they are going to establish the future, I can see VS getting the same respect and excitement as they did before.

My verdict of the event: Cringe.
The show was painfully cheesy, starting with the hosts and the guests on the pink carpet. Where exactly were those women in their cheap-looking outfits headed? Is this really what people want to see in 2025?
VS might be the perfect playground for Adriana and Alessandra, but serious models should steer clear. These events, created to pander to mass taste, only make models look absurd and strip fashion of its essence. Let’s face it; this had nothing to do with fashion. It was just another embarrassing attempt from the American so-called fashion industry.

Imaan was the only true star of the evening. ❤️

yes to everything (can we talk about the ‘image architect’ hosting this..?! lmao) but just so we’re clear, it’s never been about fashion, it’s always been entertainment and showbiz buzz, right from the very first time it was livestreamed from Cannes..

Agreed about Imaan and I’m honestly in shock of the amount of wasted spots that could’ve gone to girls like Stella Hanan, nearly everyone in the Pink section looked like sandwich artists at Subway.. especially Lila.

1) I am slightly disappointed in the model lineup, in that I was hoping for any of Vittoria Ceretti, Mia Armstrong, or Stella Hanan. But, happy to see Anok Yai x Yasmin Wijnaldum and some new names / faces.

2) I am pretty happy with the wings. I am very glad that the "written word / Victoria's Secret" wings that Candice wore in 2024 did not return.

3) Very happy with the rest of the outfits x venue / runway, and musical guests.

My overall position is that I would rather have a VSFS than no VSFS. There is the risk of mission creep with actors / influencers / athletes, but I sort of understand the need to attract as much attention as possible to sell the clothing, since that is how the attention economy / world is now.
