Shena is giving me EVERYTHING! So long and elegant. She always looks so luxe and expensive......amd those have got to be the best legs in the business. Would have loved her to have been along side Nairoby or some as equally tall and graceful as she is but the edit still works.

the main ed is beyond stunning! laura looks fantastic and the colors and the black and white photos looks so different almost like it's two editorials.. it's brilliant.

Don't rate Meisel's edit, for the first time, since I can't even remember when. It's such a dissatisfaction, considering how glorious the cover shot is. On the other hand, Marihenny & Shena's edit is spectacular, so 90's. Mariacarla by Demarchelier appears to hold promise.

i should also add that the Maricarla ed is 10 pages long and she only wears gucci in it, which made it a bit underwhelming to me

I feel the exact opposite! The editorial is much, much better than what I was expecting.

That said, I think I am going to be skipping this issue. Vogue Italia has really been leaving me cold lately. It's just been the same old formula over and over again lately, nothing really interesting or compelling has been in the magazine for a long time IMO.

The cover choice was an excellent decision, however the editorial just does not live up to it. It's obvious here that the model is inexperienced, she's lucky she has Meisel there to direct her. The photographs just feel empty both visually and conceptually. Another model would have balanced things out. I will not be purchasing this issue.
