OMG! This is surreal. I dont know what to think about it...i have to think a little first.

the styling ad photography completely make this editorial for me. Honestly, it could have been any girl. She isn't bringing much to the table, and I could totally see Querelle Jansen or Kinga Rajzak doing a fantastic job with this.

There is absolutely nothing in her eyes for me to like this. I agree that there are other girls that could have made this work, but her facial expression is the same in every shot.

OMG, the main ed is just so great! Kind of Roversi-y, though..
Hope the other eds are great too. Thanks for the pics!

The ed is like a mix between Tim Walker and Paolo Roversi.

Yes the editorial, in my opinion, looks like something Roversi would do. I really like it but I feel it would have been better if it were done by Roversi himself.

the styling of the editorial is brilliant, also really love the dark feeling to it. it's true that any model could have done a good job at this because of how great everything else is, but i'm glad they chose laura.

omg...im now actualyin love! This IS very surreal. Amazing execution, and for the cover i knew it would be OG. I think Laura is interesting and i really like her in here.
This is one of that flawless jobs by Meisel. Its really really interesting, its problably the most artistic photoshoot for Vogue Italia ever.
I see some Riversi in the type of photo and editing but this is much more dramatic and agressive than Riversi work.

Laura's editorial is fantastic, I love the styling and the vibe she brings to this set.

Plus Uma is as gorgeous as always. Pure love.

The main editorial is amazing, it actually reminds me a bit of A)an old, dark Linda Evangelista editorial by Michael Thompson and B)Malgosia by M&M for W Magazine. I'm not really sure what Laura brings to this, but there is such a bewitching quality to the photos...

Meisel is doing a lot better all of a sudden. I for one am thankful!

I never know why Uma Thurman gets covers or editorials because I can't recall a film she's been in since Kill Bill, but that woman is so photogenic it's incredible. She's not the most beautiful woman in the world by far, but her photos are always so strong. She outshines most models IMO.

I like the concept of Meisel's ed but Laura does nothing for me.

The main editorial with Laura is pretty good, and Meisel does so much for Vogue Italia in terms of editorial work, it is hard to criticize because he manages to pull off so many different styles so well.
But, as others have mentioned, it is very much in the style of Roversi, and then with elements of Tim Walker, who can do this kind of 'surreal' story with his eyes closed. Also, Richard Burbridge lends his own eccentric style to the mag now and again. So, although it's good enough, I don't see anything special, and I'm still on the fence with Laura......for now.

I am truly grateful for the main ed. I agree with some of you saying it was not the model who made it a wonderful delight for eveyone's eyes, but still I'm happy it turned out well... Congratulations Vogue Italia
