And what's up with people lumping eva herzigiva, amber valleta and christy turlington together, omg I am so tired of supers. So I get it, you all were born yesterday, but seriously, these women are not from the same model era it's like lumping Monika Jagaciak and Daria W in the same category. Who cares, in 5 years y'all will be complaining that some 12 year old thinks Lindsey Wixson is so damn old, she should go hang out with her contemporaries like Kate Moss.

Does NOTHING for me. The pose, the composition, the hair, the outfit, the makeup. It's not awful, but it's just not fresh. I do kind of like the colors but that's really the only thing.

I'm one of those people who prefers new models instead of all the Supers that are returning to VI. That has probabaly something to do with the fact I know the new girls better than the Supers.
Having said that, I really liked Eva's cover last month, but this is doing nothing for me.

not that I don't like but it's not doing much to me too...
it doesn't bother me either because in one side Vogue Italia provides some over the top creativity covers and in the other side some safe good oldies ones... and I can understand the process, it's maybe a good idea, it's sort allow an exploration of different things while still having this strong statement behind to keep it safe... yet I think I'd love to see both processes on the same cover more often, I think the best Vogue Italia covers shared this recept !

I'm on the side of confusion on whether to like this or not. Glad that it's Christy but something is not right on the cover. I just don't know what it is. And the selection of font color for the masterhead title is such a bad choice.

I don't like it. Meisel should consider reducing his use of photoshop once in a while. So much of what he produces seems so plastic.

i'm already done these supermodel nostalgia(linda,chiristy,naomi or amber..)i hope meisel would pay some attention to models from late 90's or early 00's(belgians!*cough*),like tanga,daniel z,christina kruse or maybe hannelore!they are the best of best imo....

I have to agree that it looks kinda weird though. But I'd like to think of this as a caricature of the beauty era we are leaving behind (underaged deer caught in headlights) and the modern-classic era we are entering right now. Meisel is poking fun with the zeitgeist yet again.
