Vogue Japan July 2021 : Mica Argañaraz by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin

^This will end up for Vogue Paris. Sure.

Mica looks amazing! However, I hate the ''collaboration'' concept. Call it what it is, a cheap money-saving reprint. And on the cover!!! Blasphemous. I don't care about whatever financial issues they may or may not be having, if a random edition of Elle or Marie Claire can have an issue full of original content then so should Vogue.

Anyway, Japan clearly got a better deal on the cover. From editorial preview I must admit I prefer Hannah's story from last month. Wonder who's going to get a bigger spread this time.

The cover is very VP. Cortina’s aesthetic could work very well for VP but for some reason, even if I like this, it feels so wrong for VJ.
The cover is really one of the most interesting Mica has ever done.

Don’t like the cover, but I like the two editorials.

After years of having those tasteless and disastrous VJ covers shot by those Italian photographers
(e.g. Giampaolo Sgura, Luigi & Iango, Luca and Alessandro Morelli ),
it is sort of fresh to see I&V come back and took charge of it.

BUT I STILL DISLIKE THE COVER.

I will NEVER get her appeal also the cover is bad.
I have seen a bigger effort from her lately and the shots on the ‘Beauty part’ are a little better despite those ugly swimsuits.

With all these talents, why they could not managed to make different covers from the same shooting...it's bad enough to share same editorial but the covers?....where is the creative director?, they have to make two different edits for each magazine...don't be lazy.... and also would be better that some looks are exclusive for MX and others for JP...the bigger the corporation the bigger the mistake...

the cover images in MX and JP version are slightly different, i mean it's a different photo technically, JP version is a bit better, still lackluster though

we don't know yet since we havent seen any PDF yet, maybe the contents are slightly different, but i highly doubt, based on a previous shared contents produced by conde, highly likely it's the same for both editions...

previous time Mexico also shared I&V ed with Vogue Japan and Mexico version was longer, lets see this time

Just like Anna and Binx I’ll never get micas appeal it’s just unfortunately not there

Just tragic. I don't mind Mica at all but the photos are just meh. Can't believe I&V did this...

Wow, REPRINTS! The only thing that should have been left in the '00s.

What a waste of beautiful Vittoria! I simply can not understand the logic behind using a (bad) reprint cover when you already have such a magnificent original story (and a cover!) inside. Idiots, they're all just a bunch of useless idiots in expensive suits. Hope all this idiotic ''reorganising'' backfires so badly that they're forced to just shut it down, it's what they deserve.

I am obviously still very bitter over Emmanuelle.

LOOOOOOOVE Vittoria's cover OMG it's wow wow woww ahaha sorry for my lack of words ahaha I'm speechless, it's beyond gorgeous and FASHIONNN.

of all the months to share content, they choose this one?!
they already had an amazing cover & editorial, wtf were they thinking?!

Exactly what's the point to share this with VM?....love the Vittoria cover...honestly this CN thing is just a joke...
