Vogue Paris February 2011 : Lara Stone by Mario Sorrenti

^^^ the girl just started and is already totally nude?:shock::shock:

She has actually been around for ages, had a kid and had to take time off, then came back with a bang. I can understand people's annoyance at seeing her EVERYWHERE. However, to question why she would do this editorial? It's Vogue freakin' Paris, what model wouldn't get nude?? I'm sure even young newcomers would. I see nothing wrong with it.

...And, she looks hot!

this is one issue that is totally worth buying! Sasha absolutely killed her editorial, by far my fave of the ones that were scanned between Freja and Natasha. I still can't wait to see Joan's though!

also, if anyone has the DVD could they tell us what it is about...or maybe upload to an unpublished youtube account like last time pretty please :flower:

It's crazy how I heard the name Arizona Muse for the first time one month ago upon the release of YSL's SS 2011 campaign. Now it's like, is there any magazine that this girl isn't in?

British and German Vogue , Numéro , i-D ,etc
I bet her next Vogue cover would be of Vogue Nippon

I agree with the facial comments (makeup and expression) - because Lara has such a strong face naturally, I don't think she needs all these layers of makeup. Bit too much exposure as well maybe? I'm no photographer but her face and chest seem a bit too casper/ozzy osbourne for me.

Thanks for the upload though!

 She just had an editorial for British Vogue, actually.

I wonder if her fast rise is an indicator that she'll be gone quickly though.

Karmen's and Sasha's editorials are fantastic!!! It's such a shock for me because I've never really liked them as models but they made me change my mind after that! However I have to agree with other people, Freja's editorial is boring and she's been overexposed, well lol now Arizona is up for that place apparently lol as people said she's been in every single magazine recently and I also bet she'll land a Vogue cover in no time after her Vogue Italia's major coup. By the way, so nice to see Natasha doing something else than her usual shots, her makeover has also renewed her for me.

I didn't know that ,British Vogue's fast!
I think she will last much longer than one-hit-wonders such as Ymre and Rasa, because she's accepted and welcomed by the industry, not only by Miuccia Prada

DAPHNE & SASKIA: I like how both of them complement each other and the way both of them Stand Out on their own. I`m just a bit bothered on Daphne`s makeup. It screams "TOO MUCH, Wh*re!" It destroys her young beauty.

JOAN: I love the mixture of simple and fierce poses. Love the facial expressions. Her B/W shots are better than that of the colored ones. Her shot for Gianfranco Ferre is amazing! Simple yet dreamy and gorgeous! Wow!

LARA: First question is, I wonder why she didn`t get the Calvin Klein look. Anyway, this spread is amazing! I love the eccentricity of the shots and the mixture of Over the top and simple. The Giorgio Armani shot won me over. But, the Paul Smith Women is beyond amazing, beyond stunning & beyond gorgeous! Her beauty stands out.

Amazing editorial, Daria to go!

Joan is such a talented model...really quite amazing actually.

DARIA: Amazing to death! I love almost all of the shots, namely, DSquared2, Alexander McQueen, Ralph Lauren Collection, Roberto Cavalli, Diesel, Moschino, Balmain, Isabel Marant, Versace & Valentino! The styling is superb! This screams Emmanuelle but in a very chic, suprising and fresh way. Daria works the looks and the simplicity of her poses wins this over. Amazing!

I just hope Emmanuelle Alt continues this trend "65 looks" over her reign because it is a hit, amazing. I just wonder why they don`t do this for fall and why they don`t do this for March -- The Spring Fashion Issue.

Thanks for the scans, Carla-A

^ you're welcome, i actually missed out one picture in spite of being careful not to.

and there's also one beautiful shot of Daria at the beginning of the issue, aswell as one beauty page feat. Karmen Pedaru:

scanned by me

thank you so much for the effort of scanning everything, i know it wasn't very easy :flower:^_^
the last pics with Saskia are fantastic, the one with the olive tree kills me, it would have made a great cover for sure, best issue of VP in months.
would love to see Sorrenti for the A/W collections in august, i love the way he photographs, i will miss Carine's point of view and styling.

Seems like that EDITO shot of Daria was a cover option. `No?
I love the new direction to the EDITO page, it`s a fresh layout after the White paper like before.

I love every single thing about this.
Does anybody know when will this arrive to USA? A friend is going and I'm going to ask him to get it for me.-
