Wow, Michael Thompson's editorial simply amazed me. It's haunting indeed which makes it great. Each shot is a pleasure to look at. Somehow, the editorial imbibes a British horror movie element.

As for the cover and the editorial, I do agree that they have chosen the wrong photo for the cover. It doesn't do any justice to the beauty of Jennifer Lawrence. Good thing her editorial is spectacular. Tim Walker surely knows how to please us.

Well thank heavens for Mr. Michael Thompson for delivering one of the best and most atmospheric editorials this year. Remember this consists of groups of models, mostly standing rigidly next to each other.....looking away or directly into camera and nothing more, but the result is everything.
Some of the model cast are not my favourites, but I gotta suck it up and say each and every one adapts perfectly to this aesthetic and kudos to them all.
Michael Thompson should work a whole lot more......evidence right here.

I love everything I've seen so far. W and Interview are the most interesting magazines editorial-wise at the moment, in my opinion.

What? W has become so tiresome. Michael Thompson's edit is a bore, and Karlie's doesn't seem to hold much promise. Edward Enninful is a talented man, but ever since his arrival at W, I haven't been motivated with all that much of the content. Yeah, the odd Steven Meisel edit and Linda Evangelista.. but that's it.

I'm beyond obsessed with both Jennifer and Karlie's eds.
They're just so beautiful. It's such a shame they chose the cover that they did as I would probably not even pick it up on the stand, yet the contents are glorious!

Aw, Karlie's editorial is pure love!
I really enjoy the fact that Nick has produced some different work. I've been impressed by his story for Garage and now for W. They're both quite dreamy, and so well executed.

Nick's editorial vaguely reminds me of those Dior ads he did in the '90s with Linda & Shalom. This is a bit more sugary sweet, but it's very pretty nonetheless.
