First models I really liked were Inès de La Fressange and Marpessa Hennink (yes, I'm an old lady, alright LOL!) Nowadays I quite like Doutzen Kroes and Julia Stegner.
Giselle Bundchen. She was just everywhere when her career started. I remember the first time I saw her on a magazine cover, I just kept looking at her picture and then I said to myself.."Who is she..?" That's when I became interested in models. I was probably in Middle school.
doutzen kroes. definitely. i loved watching her youtube videos and thinking how striking she is.
also. i had a phase when i liked vs angels; adriana lima and miranda kerr especially. yet i still consider miranda kerr a very sublime girl. i developed a great fondness for her casual style. very simple and chic.
when it comes to so-called high-fashion models.. i started from natasha poly. and daria werbowy attracted my attention when she used to date josh hartnett.
julia stegner. i remember so well seeing her in some teen-magazine called sugar. they reported that she is a star now and her first cover was for sugar magazine and that she didn't buy anything but a new computer with her money.
I didn't know about this thread until this afternoon... Typical sunday topic for me and nice to remember where I come from Though, it's not exactly the easiest question, when I think twice about it.
The absolute first, in time could be Kate Moss. Back in the nineties. Though, I'm not sure I can really consider her as the "first model I liked" as I was quite far away from the whole thing and didn't get more interested in models after that...
So, the real one could be Lily Cole, where it all begins for me.
