It was Doutzen Kroes for me. After she signed her contract with L'oreal, she became more of a celebrity and a household name here.

The very first one was Kate Moss I think. But I was so young I can't even remember how I discovered her. Years and years after I totally fell in love with Lara Stone when I first saw her in Vogue Paris in 2006 (the first editorial she appeared in for the magazine), I was like "Wow, who is that girl ? She's like the most beautiful thing I've ever seen !", After that, my interest in fashion moved to another level, I began buying more fashion magazines, etc...

I think Kate Moss, Lara Stone, and Sasha Pivovarova are the only models who really impressed me when I first saw them in magazines.

i'm gonna go with gemma BUT i really went crazy for Tanya Dziahileva,first saw her at Alberta Ferretti show it was S/S 2007 i think,anyway she looked so airy,glowing like a mermaid or some other beautiful creture...i remember i was kind of mad that Yana Karpova opened the show and i kept thinking in my head*what were they thinking,they should have gone with this gorgeous blondie instead of her,closing the show isn't enough!!!!*..it was completely love at first sight and i love love love her ever since,she is the main if not the only reason why i'm now a real model junkie
