everyone's key pieces sound really good

i can imagine all the pieces working together.

- yes! i esp. love i<3chanel's (makes me miss her WAYWT posts!!!)

i guess i have key pieces as well, i don't really plan it that way, but things do recur...

* clunky footwear, like frye boots, adidas superstars, painted clogs
* short skirts (usually denim or black) with tights
* jackets with a trim fit
* jewelry that contrasts with clothes (i.e. rajastani ruby earrings with denim or plain cuff with a dressy blouse)
* scarves - all sizes, shapes, fabrics, i especially like cheap cotton indian ones, or big woolly ones
* monochromatic clothes with some splashes of color
