very UN-saint laurent boutique... colours are terrible really! how is that anything similar to the beautiful opium bottle?

I'm guessing they took inspiration from the packaging, the Opium box is that same vermillion-y rust color.

Let's just say it looks better as a box.

days go by and i like this more and more! this is the kind of collection i would dream to design/wear/produce/attend...

too funny i have sketches of those "wide"ankle-boots from ages ago! mine look exactly the same but much heavier heel! i love when coincidences like that happen (so far this season same thing occured with a balenciaga dress... i draw it ages ago, and something quite similar hit the runway just a couple of weeks ago!)

I love the futurist sort of influence in this collection

I really dont like the black lips on the models. I wish they would have had dark red lips or something else It sort of ruined it for me at first.

I like it too.. it matches with Pilati vision.
I adoreTom Ford mystrious black box boutique too, however, i find it doesn't match with Pilati designs, there is no connection between the product & the background..
this is better now for Pilati vision
... I mean I find no harmony between the MUSE or DOWNTOWN & the black sleek background

they have changed the bags & the backaging as well..
& there will be different themes for each YSL store..

How can't you just love this collection? Did you like Tom Ford for YSL??? If so, well now I understand.... You just want more sex....

About the shop, the only thing that disturbs me a little is the colour...

(NEW YORK) Claudia Schiffer has been booked for Chanel and Ferragamo and Isabeli Fontana and Natalia Vodianova have been confirmed for Versace. For Stefano Pilati, however, a top ad campaigns requires more than a pretty face clad in sumptuous clothes. To wit, the designer's tapped talked-about supermodel Naomi Campbell to star in his fall YSL advertisements. Campbell, who was recently photographed in Paris by YSL campaign regulars Ines van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, is just the latest coup for IMG Models, whose other A-list faces, Kate Moss and Gisele Bündchen, have starred in the last two YSL campaigns.

I never was a fan of Pilati , but I preffered his earlier work to this collection , this lacks any romance or frenchness and its too techno and futuristic ,something which even Lanvin moved on from.

Interesting because when I saw this I though "french furturism." The hair and most of the shapes are pretty basic and classic to french style in my opinion. It's the styling, patterns, and colors that make me think futuristic.

french futurism lol .........maybe a few elements but over all its just too industrial and robotic , it makes me think of some aldous huxley world , I just hope for spring 2009 he moves on from this minimalistic **** .

I it so much!!! The hair, make up, the black lips are so chic and fierce!! LOVE it!!!

the only thing i don't like is the weird coats and pants. the don't have a form they look so unflattering. Awful. Clothes are supposed to flatter, how a "cocoon" can flatter any body type?!?!?
